During the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, many families faced difficulties in arranging essential daily supplies due to restrictions and containment measures. Understanding the challenges faced by such families, Samoon Foundation continued its humanitarian support initiatives.

As part of this effort, 12 ration kits were distributed among needy families in the containment zone of Kot Gyarah Gaon. Each ration kit included essential daily-use items such as sugar, oil, salt, toothpaste, spices, pulses, eggs, porridge, and soap.

As part of this initiative, 5 oximeters were provided to 5 Gram Sabhas of Patti Bharpur, Tehri Garhwal. Additionally, 1 oximeter was provided to village Saudpani and 1 oximeter to Saknidhhar, along with masks and sanitizers for community use.

Friends, that period was filled with several difficult challenges for Uttarakhand. On one hand, markets and shops were closed, while on the other hand, arranging essential medicines and ration supplies had become a major challenge for many people.

In several villages, ration supplies were not reaching on time, medicines were becoming difficult to arrange, and many people were suffering from fever and illness. During such a critical situation, there was a need for proper guidance, awareness, and ensuring that the basic nutritional requirements of families continued without interruption.

Keeping this responsibility at the forefront, Samoon Foundation, always committed to the service of humanity, took the initiative to support people across villages by providing essential assistance.

The foundation started efforts to distribute masks, sanitizers, oximeters, ration kits, and other necessary items among people in need. This initiative was started in districts including Dehradun, Rudraprayag, and Tehri Garhwal.

As part of this service campaign, Samoon Foundation had already distributed masks and sanitizers in Devprayag and provided ration support to many needy families in Rishikesh and Dehradun.

Similarly, in Bajiyal village, Akhodi, Tehri Garhwal, Samoon Foundation distributed ration kits to poor, helpless, and needy families to support them during this difficult time.

कोरोना महामारी के कठिन समय में समूण फाउंडेशन की सेवा पहल

दोस्तों, उस समय उत्तराखंड कई विकट परिस्थितियों से गुजर रहा था। एक ओर जहां दुकानों पर ताले लगे हुए थे, वहीं दूसरी ओर लोगों के सामने दवाइयों के साथ-साथ राशन और अन्य आवश्यक सामग्री जुटाना भी एक बड़ी चुनौती बन गया था।

गांवों में समय पर राशन नहीं पहुंच पा रहा था, दवाइयों की उपलब्धता में कठिनाइयां आ रही थीं और कई लोग बुखार एवं अन्य स्वास्थ्य समस्याओं से परेशान थे। ऐसे समय में लोगों को सही मार्गदर्शन देने के साथ-साथ उनके खानपान और आवश्यक जरूरतों को व्यवस्थित एवं सुचारू रूप से बनाए रखना बहुत जरूरी था।

इसी उद्देश्य को सर्वोपरि रखते हुए मानवता की सेवा के लिए सदैव तत्पर रहने वाले समूण फाउंडेशन ने जरूरतमंदों तक सहायता पहुंचाने का संकल्प लिया।

समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा गांव-गांव जाकर मास्क, सैनिटाइजर, ऑक्सीमीटर एवं राशन किट सहित आवश्यक सामग्री वितरित करने का अभियान शुरू किया गया। इस सेवा कार्य की शुरुआत देहरादून, रुद्रप्रयाग और टिहरी गढ़वाल जिलों से की गई।

इसी क्रम में समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा कुछ समय से देवप्रयाग में मास्क एवं सैनिटाइजर वितरित किए गए तथा ऋषिकेश और देहरादून में कई जरूरतमंद परिवारों को राशन सामग्री उपलब्ध करवाई गई।

वहीं टिहरी जिले के अखोड़ी स्थित बाजियाल गांव में भी समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा जरूरतमंद, गरीब एवं असहाय परिवारों को राशन किट प्रदान की गई।

समूण परिवार कठिन परिस्थितियों में भी मानव सेवा के अपने संकल्प के साथ निरंतर समाज के जरूरतमंद लोगों के साथ खड़ा रहा।

Samoon Foundation and Devprayag Police Provided Relief Support to Cloudburst-Affected Families

The Devprayag Police has always played a leading role in social service initiatives. The respected Station House Officer of Devprayag Police, Mr. Mahipal Singh Rawat Ji, has continuously been working at his level to support needy people in the region.

Following the damage caused by a cloudburst in Gram Sabha Bauth and Marad, the Devprayag Police team and Samoon Foundation team visited the affected areas to assess the situation and provide necessary relief support to the affected families.

The teams reached Bauth village and distributed essential relief materials including ration supplies and masks to the identified needy families. Along with this, a sanitization machine was also provided to help in maintaining hygiene and safety in the area.

Samoon Foundation remains committed to working together with local administration and communities to support people affected by difficult situations.

देवप्रयाग पुलिस समाज सेवा के कार्यों में सदैव अग्रणी भूमिका निभाती आई है। देवप्रयाग पुलिस के सम्मानित थाना अध्यक्ष श्री महिपाल सिंह रावत जी निरंतर अपने स्तर से क्षेत्र के जरूरतमंद लोगों की सहायता के लिए कार्य करते रहते हैं।

ग्राम सभा बौंठ और मराड में बादल फटने से हुई क्षति का जायजा लेने एवं प्रभावित परिवारों तक राहत सामग्री पहुंचाने के उद्देश्य से देवप्रयाग पुलिस एवं समूण फाउंडेशन की टीम संयुक्त रूप से बौंठ गांव पहुंची।

टीम द्वारा चिन्हित जरूरतमंद परिवारों को राशन सामग्री एवं मास्क वितरित किए गए। इसके साथ ही क्षेत्र में स्वच्छता एवं सुरक्षा को ध्यान में रखते हुए सैनिटाइजेशन के लिए एक सैनिटाइजेशन मशीन भी प्रदान की गई।
