son of Mr. Sunil Nautiyal, a respected and esteemed member of the Samoon family who has

donated every month for the past 12 years. On this special occasion, stationery and sweets

were delivered to the students studying at Samoon Adarsh School in Osla village through the

family.

Donating on one’s birthday significantly increases the blessings you receive. In earlier times,

piety was highly valued, and even the items donated by pious people were considered

important. However, in today's materialistic age, piety is lacking among people. During your

birthday, you are considered pure and free from any impurity, making it a particularly

auspicious time to give donations. Thus, it is highly beneficial to make donations on your

birthday whenever possible.

The construction work of Samoon Adarsh School building in progress.

In the previous financial year 2022-23, land levelling for the construction of the Samoon Adarsh School building was completed. In May, the foundation work began, and the construction of walls started.

The construction work is proving to be more challenging than initially anticipated. Due to the extremely difficult terrain, no contractor or labor is readily willing to work there as there is no mobile network, no electricity, and no road access. Reaching Osla village requires traversing 16 kilometres of rugged, footpaths, along with dealing with severe cold, snowfall, and rainy weather.

Despite offering attractive wages, three contractors rejected our offers. However, the work has restarted and is progressing rapidly. By May 2023, we have invested ₹12 lakh in the construction of the school building.

Although there have been delays, the work is progressing with high quality, and we will soon achieve our goal. The construction of the school building is made possible through the donations and efforts of all the esteemed members of the Samoon family, especially Mr. Ramesh Inderdutt Naithani, to whom we express our deep appreciation and praise.

Heavy torrential rains, occasional snowfall, hailstorms, biting cold, and the even greater

challenge of a 16-kilometer footpath to the project site, where there is no electricity, no network, no first aid, and no machinery to expedite the work—despite these complex problems, we remain steadfast in our mission for the bright future of the children of Osla village. Gradually, the work on this magnificent temple of Goddess Saraswati is progressing, and the day is not far when the grand building of Samoon Adarsh School will be ready. This has been made possible through the exemplary support of all the esteemed members of the Samoon family, for which you all deserve our deepest gratitude.

During the two months of heavy rainfall in July and August, all the roads leading to Osla, the last village in Uttarkashi, were completely damaged. As a result, we were unable to transport construction materials to Osla via the 16-kilometer footpath, and were compelled to halt the construction work on the school building.

Date – Monday, September 4, 2023

In September 2023, the rain stopped and the roads cleared, allowing us to resume transporting materials by mule. Therefore, the construction work for the Samoon Adarsh School building has restarted, with the aim of completing it by March of this session so that the school can move into the new building for the next session.

With the special support of Mr. Ramesh Inder Naithani, work is progressing, and so far,

₹20 lakh have been spent. It is estimated that an equal amount will be needed to

complete the project, for which Mr. Naithani has assured every possible assistance.

जैसे कि आप सभी को विदित है कि #समूण_फाउंडेशन हर नव साल को कंबल वितरण के रूप में मनाती है । 1 जनवरी २०२३  को ऋषिकेश से शुरू हुआ  था ,यह कंबल वितरण कार्यक्रम  टिहरी गढ़वाल के गौधाम ग्राम पंचायत जखणी लम्बगांव, प्रतापनगर पहुंचाया गया  था।  जहां पर 19 चयनित परिवारों जिनमे वृद्ध, विधवा, बच्चे एवँ महिलाएं समलित थी को कम्बल वितरित किए गए । आशा  करि की  इस कड़कड़ाती ठंड में इन परिवारों को प्रदान किए गए कम्बलों से थोड़ी राहत मिलेगी । 

यह कंबल वितरण कार्यक्रम जनवरी में  जारी था और इसके पश्चात गर्म कपड़े एवं मौजे (जुराब) बच्चों को वितरित किए गए । #समूण_परिवार सभी की कुशलता एवं खुशहाली की कामना करती है और अपने सभी दानदाताओं का आभार प्रकट करता है जिनके माध्यम से हमें दान प्राप्त होता है और परिणामस्वरूप हम इस तरह की सामाजिक कार्य करने में सफल होते हैं ।

 

Financial assistance for a differently-abled person suffering from a brain hemorrhage.

 Anil Suyal, son of the late Mr. Jashodar Prasad Suyal and a resident of Gram Swadi, Tehri Garhwal district, was a physically handicapped individual. On 7th October 2022, he suffered a brain haemorrhage, which put his life at risk. At that time, he was struggling between life and death in the hospital, and the daily cost of his treatment was at least Rs. 3,500. Given the absence of an earning member in his family and with three young children to care for, their financial situation was extremely dire. Hence, they appealed to everyone, as fellow human beings, to kindly extend their support so that Anil could receive proper medical treatment and stay with his family. Contributions, according to individual capabilities, greatly assisted in their sustenance and treatment. For more information, individuals were requested to contact a family member who remained with them. At that challenging time, the Samoon Foundation was actively involved in assisting Anil Suyal and his family. They supported medical expenses and ensured that Anil received the necessary treatment. The foundation continued to work towards the well-being of Anil and his family, expressing gratitude to all the donors who had contributed to this cause. Anil has now been discharged and is not completely stable. The monthly expense for his medication was Rs. 17,500, which became extremely challenging for the family to bear. They humbly requested all generous donors to contribute whatever they could, so Anil Suyal could care for his family and afford his medication.

A small financial assistance of Rs. 8,000 in the form of a check was provided to Anil Suyal, a resident of Garhwal who suffered from a brain haemorrhage.

दिनांक 2 मार्च 2023 को समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा उत्तरकाशी मे एक निर्धन परिवार का घर जल जाने से सब कुछ राख मे तब्दिल हो गया था, पीड़ित  परिवार को बर्तन एँव राशनखरीदने  हेतु छोटी सी धनराशी का रुपये 5100 की धनराशि चेक द्वारा प्रदान किया गया । आपको बता देँ कि 3 जनवरी 2023 को उत्तरकाशी के बड़कोट क्षेत्र के पिंडकी गांव में भीषण आग लगने के कारण तीन परिवारों श्री जय सिंह, श्री नरेश सिंह और श्री जसपाल सिंह जी का मकान जलकर राख हो गया था जिस कारण उनके सामने रहने एवं खाने की समस्या उत्पन्न हो गई थी जिस कारण इन परिवारों की आर्थिक स्थिति बहुत दयनीय हो गई थी  । समूण परिवार के सदस्योँ द्वारा दान स्वरुप प्राप्त धनराशी को आज समूण फाउंडेशन की सदस्या श्रीमती सीता पयाल जी के द्वारा पीड़ित  परिवार को राशन एँव बर्तन खरीदने हेतु रुपये 5100 की छोटी सी सहायता राशी का चेक प्रदान किया गया । हमे आशा है कि इस छोटी सी मदद से पीड़ित परिवारों को थोड़ा बहुत राहत मिलेगी । समूण परिवार मानवता की सेवा हेतु समर्पित 

 

Assistance for Dharmendra Chamola's medical treatment.

 DATE: On November 12, 2022

The Samoon team visited Dharmendra Chamola at his residence in Musadung, Jakholi Block, Rudraprayag District to meet him and inquire about his current condition. During this visit, the team provided a check of 2,100 rupees to support his medical expenses.

Dharmendra Chamola, a resident of Rudraprayag who is known for transporting goods and pilgrims to Kedarnath with his mules and horses, met with an unfortunate accident on the Kedarnath motor road. While returning home with his two companions and animals, their group was hit by a vehicle, resulting in the tragic death of his two companions on the spot. Dharmendra Chamola himself was injured and had to be admitted to Rishikesh AIIMS Hospital for treatment. Due to the high medical expenses and the absence of an Ayushman card, the distressed family sought help from the Samoon Foundation. Upon their request, the Samoon team promptly assisted by arranging an Ayushman card and ensuring that Dharmendra received the necessary medical treatment under the Ayushman card scheme. Sometimes, helping those in need involves more than just financial assistance; it can also include guiding them towards government schemes and benefits that can make a significant difference in their lives.

समूण फाउंडेशन की टीम दिनाँक 12 नवम्बर 2022 को धर्मेंद्र चमोला को मिलने और हाल समाचार जानने हेतु उनके निवास स्थान ग्राम- मूसाढुँग ब्लॉक- जखोली जनपद- रुद्रप्रयाग पहुँची और दवाईयोँ हेतु 2100 रुपये का चेक भी प्रदान किया । आपको बता देँ कि केदारनाथ मे अपने खच्चरोँ से सामान और तीर्थ यात्रियोँ को ले जाने वाले रुद्रप्रयाग के निवासी "धर्मेंद्र चमोला जब अपने दो अन्य  साथियो  समेत घोड़े व खच्चर के साथ केदारनाथ मोटर मार्ग से अपने घर की ओर आ रहे थे; तभी किसी गाडी ने तीनो को जोरदार टक्कर मार दी थी जिस कारण उनके दो साथियों की तत्काल ओन दा स्पोट मृत्यु हो गई  थी और धर्मेंद्र चमोला जी को इलाज के लिए ऋषिकेश ऐम्स अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था। 

ऋषिकेश एम्स मे ईलाज का बहुत अधिक खर्च और आयुष्मान कार्ड न होने के कारण पीड़ित परिवार ने समूण फाउंडेशन से मदद की गुहार लगाई जिसको देखते हुए समूण टीम ने तत्काल आयुष्मान कार्ड बनवाया और सम्पुर्ण इलाज आयुष्मान कार्ड से करवाने मे मदद की । कभी कभी सिर्फ पैसोँ से हेल्प नही की जाती बल्कि जरुरतमंदो को अच्छा मार्गदर्शन करके या सरकारी योजनाओँ का लाभ दिलाकर भी हेल्प किया जा सकता है । मानवता की सेवा हेतु समर्पित समूण फाउंडेशन पिछले 12 सालोँ से अपने सम्मानित सदस्योँ दान दाताओँ और अनुयायियोँ के अतुलनीय सहयोग से उत्तराखँड मेँ जरुरतमंदो के हितार्थ कार्य कर रही है ।

ग्राम कंडियाल पुरोला जिला - उत्तरकाशी के निवासी हरिमोहन कुमार पुत्र श्री बल प्रसाद बहुत गंभीर बीमारी से जुंझ रहेथे । वह अपने माता पिता के एकलौते पुत्र हैं और वह एक बहुत गरीब परिवार से हैं। परिवार की आर्थिक स्तिथि बहुत ही दयनीय थी | 2 साल से किडनी की बीमारी से पीड़ित हरी मोहन डायलिसिस के जरिए अपना जीवन जी रहे थे । डॉक्टर ने किडनी ट्रांसप्लांट की सलाह दी थी  । उनकी ट्रांसप्लांट के लिए प्री-जांच चल रही हैं ,  पीड़ित परिवार ने    समूण फाउंडेशन से  सहयोग की अपील की थी  किडनी प्रत्यारोपण की प्रक्रिया  दिसंबर -2022 में निश्चित हुआ थी 

समूण परिवार की टीम दिनांक  23/11/2022 को देहरादून मेँ हरिमोहन जी से मिलने जौली ग्राँट होस्पिटल पहुँची , और हरिमोहन के इलाज के लिए एक छोटी सी धनराशी रुपये 15,000/- का चेक प्रदान किया गया । इन की किडनी प्रत्यारोपण प्रक्रिया  दिसंबर -२०२२ में होना तय हुआ था । समूण परिवार  हरिमोहन जी के सिघ्र स्वस्थ होने हेतु भगवान से प्रार्थना की।

Empowering Through Education: Samoon Foundation's Essay Competition in Tehri Garhwal

 The essay competition titled "Samoon Computer Education Institute Akhodi" took place in Tehri Garhwal, aiming to foster academic excellence and student participation in the region. Shri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, the Chairperson of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and the President of C20 (www.civil2o.net), spearheaded this initiative. India had the honor of hosting the G20 summit that year, with C20 providing a platform for civil society organizations (CSOs) to voice their concerns to G20 leaders.

Under C20, numerous activities were organized across the country, with active support from the Samoon Foundation. Their focus on education and computer literacy, particularly through the Samoon Computer Education Institute in Akhodi, was commendable. The essay competition served as a means to engage students and stress the importance of computer education.

Enthusiastic students from Tehri Garhwal participated wholeheartedly, showcasing their knowledge and computer skills. The event received an overwhelming response, with students presenting insightful essays on the topic. It provided a platform for them to articulate their thoughts, improving their writing and critical thinking abilities.

Collaborating with the Computer Education Institute, the Samoon Foundation played a pivotal role in organizing and managing the competition. Their efforts ensured smooth operations, from registration to evaluation and awarding prizes to deserving participants. This recognition motivated students to excel in computer education.

The C20 initiative encouraged collaboration and knowledge sharing among civil society organizations, addressing societal challenges for national development. The Samoon Foundation's involvement highlighted its dedication to societal impact through education and technology.
