Advancing Educational Equity — Samoon Foundation at Government Adarsh Primary School

On July 27 , 20 24, the Samoon Foundation advanced its large- scale uniform

distribution initiative with a focused outreach at Government Adarsh Primary School,

Thauldhar, T ehri Garhwal. As part of its broader campaign to provide free uniforms to

4,000 students across  Uttarakhand, this visit marked a critical step in ensuring

equitable access to educational resources.




The Foundation’s field team— Rajendra Rangad, Vinod Rangad, Sunil Saklani, and

Baldev Chauhan— personally coordinated the distribution, ensuring that every child

received the necessary support. Speaking at the event, Mr. Rajendra Rangad

underscored the dual objective of the campaign: fostering educational participation

while easing the financial burden on underprivileged families. The initiative targets

4,000 students across 50 government schools by the end of the year.



Headmaster Mr. Surendra Singh Negi and Assistant Teacher Mr. Amit Chamoli

expressed sincere gratitude, emphasizing that such interventions not only enhance

the school environment but also contribute to the students' personal growth and

academic motivation. The active involvement of local stakeholders, including parents

and the village head, reflected the community’s appreciation and trust in the initiative.

Empowering Through Literature –Samoon Foundation’s Role in Tehri Kitab Kauthing

On July 22, 2024, the historic city of New Tehri witnessed a powerful confluence of

culture, education, and social service during the conclusion of the first- ever "Tehri Kitab

Kauthing"

— a grand literary and cultural fair celebrating the written word. Over the

two- day event, more than 50,000 books adorned the venue, drawing in thousands of

students, writers, educators, and book lovers from across the region.



Among the festival’s notable contributors was the Samoon Foundation, which reinforced

its mission of educational equity by donating 1 00 school uniforms to underprivileged

students. The Foundation’s thoughtful contribution linked access to literature with

tangible student support, eff ectively bridging the gap between knowledge sharing and

social empowerment.

The event featured a diverse array of literary discussions, author interactions, and cultural

performances. Noteworthy sessions included themes such as“Himalaya in Danger” and

“Tehri’s Past and Present,which ignited conversations around ecology, heritage, andidentity. Participation from renowned writers, thinkers, and local artists added intellectual

depth and cultural richness to the festival.




The Samoon Foundation’s involvement exemplified its multifaceted approach to

community service— championing both education and cultural preservation. By

A Decade of Dedication –Samoon Foundation's 10th Day Uniform Drive Reaches Kurn

On July 22, 2024, the Samoon Foundation proudly marked the tenth day of its extensive

uniform distribution campaign by reaching the students of Government Primary School, Kurn,in Tehri Garhwal. This milestone underscores a decade- long commitment to educational

equity, focusing on bridging gaps for underprivileged children in rural Uttarakhand.

The initiative was led by Vijendra Kumar, Director of the Samoon Computer Training Institute

and Samoon Excellence Coaching Center, who explained the campaign’s broader

purpose: “This distribution is about more than just clothing. It's about dignity, confidence, and

opportunity for every child, regardless of their socio- economic background.”

The uniforms were warmly received by students, parents, and school staff alike.

Headmaster Mr. Ramesh Kumar Jhalldiyal expressed heartfelt gratitude, noting,

“This initiative fills children with confidence and gives them a sense of unity.




” Assistant Teacher Mr.Yashpal Singh Jethudi echoed this sentiment, stating that the effort would“ inspire children to progress in their educational journey and achieve success in life.”

Nurturing Dreams –Uniform Distribution at Samoon Foundation’s Own Training Institut

On July 20, 2024, the Samoon Foundation marked the ninth day of its ongoing uniform

distribution campaign by reaching inward— supporting students at its very own Samoon

Computer Training Institute (SCTI03) in Sauda, Tehri Garhwal. This event highlighted the

Foundation’s unique and comprehensive approach to educational and skill- based

empowerment.



Under the guidance of Director Vijendra Kumar, who personally distributed the uniforms,

each student at SCTI0 3 received a new school uniform. This initiative reflects the

Foundation’s belief that education and dignity go hand- in- hand, even within its own

training network.

The Samoon Foundation’s model at SCTI03 combines free education, vocational skill

training, and practical resources like uniforms to ensure students are not only learning

but also gaining the confidence and professionalism needed to thrive in real- world

environments. A uniform in this context serves not only as attire, but as a symbol of

A Week of Dedication –Samoon Foundation Brings Uniforms to Koti Dobhalon Ki

On July 17 , 2024, the Samoon Foundation reached a new milestone in its ongoing school

uniform distribution campaign by visiting the Government Primary School in Koti Dobhalon Ki,

Tehri Garhwal. This event marked the seventh consecutive day of the Foundation's eff ortto ensure that every child, regardless of economic status, receives access to basic educational

resources.



The distribution was smoothly executed by a dedicated team including Mr. Jitendra

Jardhari, Rajendra Rangad, and Vinod Rangad, who ensured that each student received

their new uniform with care and dignity. The uniforms brought more than physical

comfort— they sparked visible joy and renewed confidence among the students.

School Principal Meena Ji expressed sincere appreciation, remarking on how something

as simple as a uniform can foster pride and equality in the classroom, allowing students to
