On July 27 , 20 24, the Samoon Foundation advanced its large- scale uniform
distribution initiative with a focused outreach at Government Adarsh Primary School,
Thauldhar, T ehri Garhwal. As part of its broader campaign to provide free uniforms to
4,000 students across Uttarakhand, this visit marked a critical step in ensuring
equitable access to educational resources.
The Foundation’s field team— Rajendra Rangad, Vinod Rangad, Sunil Saklani, and
Baldev Chauhan— personally coordinated the distribution, ensuring that every child
received the necessary support. Speaking at the event, Mr. Rajendra Rangad
underscored the dual objective of the campaign: fostering educational participation
while easing the financial burden on underprivileged families. The initiative targets
4,000 students across 50 government schools by the end of the year.
Headmaster Mr. Surendra Singh Negi and Assistant Teacher Mr. Amit Chamoli
expressed sincere gratitude, emphasizing that such interventions not only enhance
the school environment but also contribute to the students' personal growth and
academic motivation. The active involvement of local stakeholders, including parents
and the village head, reflected the community’s appreciation and trust in the initiative.
This distribution drive stands as yet another milestone in the Samoon Foundation’s
ongoing commitment to inclusive education and social upliftment, reinforcing its
promise of continued, impactful programming throughout Uttarakhand.
