Samoon Foundation Organized Free Medical Check-Up Camp and Continued COVID-19 Relief Services Across Uttarakhand

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Samoon Foundation continued its commitment towards serving humanity by organizing medical support initiatives and providing essential assistance to vulnerable communities across Uttarakhand.
After successfully conducting a free medical check-up and medicine distribution camp at Swarg Ashram, Parmarth Niketan, Ram Jhula, Rishikesh (Pauri Garhwal), Samoon Foundation gained confidence and motivation to organize similar medical camps in the hilly regions of Uttarakhand in the future.
Samoon Foundation expresses heartfelt gratitude to Bahuguna Medicose for becoming a valuable partner in this initiative and supporting the mission of providing healthcare assistance to people in need.
During the second wave of COVID-19, when the government implemented a COVID curfew to break the chain of infection, many helpless people, persons with disabilities, widowed women, and daily wage workers faced difficulties in arranging food, medicines, and essential supplies due to lack of income and savings.
Understanding the seriousness of the situation, Samoon Foundation took responsibility for supporting such families. Dedicated teams were formed across the Garhwal and Kumaon regions, and helpline numbers were introduced to receive requests from people in need.
Since then, Samoon Foundation worked continuously day and night to respond to these requests and provide humanitarian assistance, including arranging ambulances, oxygen cylinders, ration kits, masks, sanitizers, oximeters, and other essential supplies.
The mission was to support communities and contribute towards making villages, Uttarakhand, and the country safer from COVID-19.

कोरोना महामारी के कठिन समय में समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा मानव सेवा के संकल्प के साथ स्वास्थ्य सहायता एवं राहत कार्यों को लगातार आगे बढ़ाया गया।
स्वर्ग आश्रम, परमार्थ निकेतन, राम झूला- ऋषिकेश, पौड़ी गढ़वाल में सफलतापूर्वक निःशुल्क स्वास्थ्य जांच एवं दवा वितरण शिविर आयोजित करने के बाद, समूण फाउंडेशन का उत्साह और विश्वास बढ़ा कि उत्तराखंड के पर्वतीय क्षेत्रों में भी भविष्य में इसी प्रकार के स्वास्थ्य शिविर आयोजित किए जाएं।
इस महत्वपूर्ण पहल में सहयोग करने के लिए बहुगुणा मेडिकोज का समूण फाउंडेशन हृदय से आभार व्यक्त करता है, जिन्होंने इस सेवा कार्य में अपना सहयोग प्रदान किया।
कोरोना महामारी की दूसरी लहर के दौरान संक्रमण की श्रृंखला को तोड़ने के लिए सरकार द्वारा कोरोना कर्फ्यू लागू किया गया था। उस समय कई असहाय, दिव्यांग, विधवा महिलाएं एवं दिहाड़ी मजदूर, जिनके पास आय का कोई साधन या बचत नहीं थी, उन्हें भोजन, दवाइयों एवं अन्य आवश्यक वस्तुओं की व्यवस्था करने में कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ रहा था।
ऐसी विषम परिस्थितियों में समूण फाउंडेशन ने इन जरूरतमंद लोगों की सहायता का जिम्मा उठाया। इसके लिए गढ़वाल मंडल एवं कुमाऊं मंडल में टीमों का गठन किया गया और हेल्पलाइन नंबर जारी किए गए।
इसके बाद समूण फाउंडेशन को लगातार सहायता हेतु निवेदन प्राप्त होने लगे, जिन पर त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए संस्था दिन-रात मानव सेवा में जुटी रही।
कहीं एम्बुलेंस की व्यवस्था, तो कहीं ऑक्सीजन सिलेंडर, कहीं राशन किट, तो कहीं मास्क, सैनिटाइजर एवं ऑक्सीमीटर उपलब्ध करवाए गए, ताकि अधिक से अधिक लोगों तक सहायता पहुंचाई जा सके।
समूण फाउंडेशन का प्रयास था कि हमारा गांव, राज्य और देश कोरोना संक्रमण से सुरक्षित हो सके।
