Emergency Rescue & Medical Support for Ramswaroop

On the night of 17 January 2025, during Samoon Foundation’s annual blanket distribution drive in Rishikesh, a routine act of compassion turned into an urgent life-saving mission. While distributing blankets to the homeless in the cold winter night, the team encountered Ramswaroop, a daily wage laborer from Tehri Garhwal, lying helplessly on the roadside in severe pain.
Ramswaroop had suffered a serious hand injury caused by a falling wooden beam. His condition had worsened significantly, with a severe infection and no proper medical care. Although he had previously been admitted to AIIMS Rishikesh, he was discharged while still in critical condition and left without any support system.
Recognizing the urgency, the Samoon Foundation team immediately provided him with a blanket and stepped in to help. Volunteer Mr. Gajendra Rana took prompt action and began coordinating efforts to ensure Ramswaroop’s re-admission for proper medical treatment.
However, the situation required urgent and continued support beyond immediate assistance. In light of this, Samoon Foundation extended an appeal to the public to come forward and contribute towards Ramswaroop’s treatment and recovery. Every contribution, no matter how small, can play a vital role in saving a life and restoring hope.
This incident reflects the Foundation’s unwavering commitment not only to providing relief but also to standing by individuals in their most critical moments—upholding dignity, compassion, and humanity at every step.

रामस्वरूप के लिए आपातकालीन बचाव एवं चिकित्सीय सहायता

दिनांक 17 जनवरी 2025 की ठंडी रात में, जब समून फाउंडेशन की टीम ऋषिकेश में अपने वार्षिक कंबल वितरण अभियान के तहत जरूरतमंदों को सहायता प्रदान कर रही थी, तब एक सामान्य सेवा कार्य अचानक एक आपातकालीन जीवन रक्षक मिशन में बदल गया। कंबल वितरण के दौरान टीम को रामस्वरूप नामक एक दैनिक मजदूर, जो टिहरी गढ़वाल के निवासी हैं, सड़क किनारे गंभीर दर्द में असहाय अवस्था में पड़े मिले।
रामस्वरूप के हाथ में लकड़ी का भारी बीम गिरने से गंभीर चोट लगी थी, जो समय पर उचित इलाज न मिलने के कारण संक्रमण में बदल गई थी। उनके हाथ की स्थिति अत्यंत खराब हो चुकी थी। उन्हें पहले AIIMS ऋषिकेश में भर्ती किया गया था, लेकिन गंभीर स्थिति के बावजूद उन्हें छुट्टी दे दी गई और वह बिना किसी सहारे के अकेले रह गए।
स्थिति की गंभीरता को समझते हुए समून फाउंडेशन की टीम ने तुरंत उन्हें कंबल प्रदान किया और सहायता के लिए आगे बढ़ी। टीम के सदस्य श्री गजेन्द्र राणा जी ने तुरंत पहल करते हुए उनके पुनः अस्पताल में भर्ती कराने के प्रयास शुरू किए।
हालांकि, इस स्थिति में निरंतर और व्यापक सहायता की आवश्यकता है। इसलिए समून फाउंडेशन ने समाज के लोगों से अपील की है कि वे आगे आकर रामस्वरूप के उपचार और जीवन रक्षा के लिए सहयोग करें। छोटी से छोटी मदद भी किसी के जीवन में नई उम्मीद जगा सकती है।
