On 23 January 2025, Samoon Foundation extended its winter aid initiative to the Anganwadi Center in Tikhaun-I Village, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. The cold winter morning was filled with happiness and excitement as children received warm sweaters along with a message of care, encouragement, and confidence.

The initiative went beyond the distribution of winter clothing. Samoon Foundation focused on creating a meaningful learning experience for the children. Representing the Foundation, Mr. Rajendra Singh Rangad interacted with the young learners and organized an engaging educational session. Through simple winter health awareness tips and fun learning activities, he encouraged children to stay healthy, active, and connected with education.

Chief Anganwadi Worker Mrs. Neema Rana appreciated the initiative and highlighted that such support not only protects children from harsh weather but also encourages regular attendance and better participation in early education. Mrs. Pooja Semwal, Chairperson of the Anganwadi Committee, also praised the effort, stating that such initiatives strengthen children’s sense of safety, confidence, and self-belief.

Ward members, parents, and Anganwadi staff present during the program expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the Foundation’s thoughtful approach. They recognized that the sweaters represented more than just winter support—they symbolized care, encouragement, and equal opportunities for children in rural communities.

दिनांक 23 जनवरी 2025 को समून फाउंडेशन ने अपने शीतकालीन सहायता अभियान को आगे बढ़ाते हुए उत्तराखंड के टिहरी गढ़वाल स्थित टिखौण-I गांव के आंगनवाड़ी केंद्र में बच्चों को गर्म स्वेटर वितरित किए। ठंडी सुबह के बीच बच्चों के चेहरों पर खुशी और उत्साह देखने को मिला, क्योंकि उन्हें गर्म कपड़ों के साथ-साथ देखभाल, प्रोत्साहन और आत्मविश्वास का संदेश भी मिला।

यह पहल केवल गर्म कपड़ों के वितरण तक सीमित नहीं थी, बल्कि बच्चों के लिए एक प्रेरणादायक और सीखने का अनुभव तैयार करने का प्रयास भी था। समून फाउंडेशन की ओर से श्री राजेंद्र सिंह रंगाड़ जी ने बच्चों के साथ संवाद किया और एक रोचक शैक्षिक सत्र आयोजित किया। सर्दियों में स्वास्थ्य की देखभाल से जुड़ी महत्वपूर्ण जानकारियों और मनोरंजक सीखने वाली गतिविधियों के माध्यम से बच्चों को स्वस्थ, सक्रिय और शिक्षा के प्रति प्रेरित किया गया।

मुख्य आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकर्ता श्रीमती नीमा राणा जी ने इस पहल की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि इस प्रकार का सहयोग बच्चों को ठंड से सुरक्षा प्रदान करने के साथ-साथ उनकी नियमित उपस्थिति और शिक्षा में रुचि बढ़ाने में सहायक होता है। आंगनवाड़ी समिति की अध्यक्ष श्रीमती पूजा सेमवाल जी ने भी इस प्रयास की प्रशंसा करते हुए कहा कि ऐसी पहल बच्चों में सुरक्षा की भावना, आत्मविश्वास और सकारात्मक सोच को मजबूत करती हैं।

कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित वार्ड सदस्य, अभिभावक और आंगनवाड़ी कर्मचारियों ने समून फाउंडेशन के इस संवेदनशील प्रयास के लिए आभार व्यक्त किया। उन्होंने कहा कि ये स्वेटर केवल सर्दी से बचाव का साधन नहीं हैं, बल्कि बच्चों के प्रति देखभाल, प्रोत्साहन और समान अवसरों का प्रतीक हैं।
