On January 6, 2025, the Samoon Foundation extended its continued commitment to
early childhood development by distributing warm sweaters to children at the
Anganwadi Center in Sera Village (Silla), Dehradun, Uttarakhand. This initiative,
focused on the youngest learners, seeks to provide essential winter protection while
nurturing their early educational journey.
Mrs. Krishna Devi, the Anganwadi worker, highlighted the importance of the initiative,
stating that the sweaters “help children stay safe, continue their education, and focus
better on their studies.
” Assistant Teacher Mrs. Kavita Nautiyal expressed her
appreciation, emphasizing the value of such support in underserved rural settings.
Foundation representative Mr. J.P . Chamoli addressed the gathering, outlining the
Samoon Foundation’s broader mission to foster education and holistic development,
particularly in remote communities. Parents attending the event commended the
eff ort, calling it “an excellent example of promoting education where it’s needed most.”
Through this thoughtful outreach in Sera Village, the Samoon Foundation reinforces
its dedication to empowering children, ensuring that even the youngest have the
