Samoon Foundation continued its commitment towards early childhood development by distributing warm sweaters to children at the Anganwadi Center in Sera Village (Silla), Dehradun, Uttarakhand, on 6 January 2025. This initiative focused on providing essential winter protection to young learners while supporting their early educational journey.

The program aimed to ensure that children remain safe and comfortable during the cold season, enabling them to attend the Anganwadi regularly and engage actively in learning activities. By addressing basic needs at an early stage, Samoon Foundation continues to promote holistic growth and development among children in rural communities.

Anganwadi worker Mrs. Krishna Devi highlighted the importance of the initiative and shared that the sweaters help children stay safe, continue their education, and focus better on their studies. Assistant Teacher Mrs. Kavita Nautiyal also expressed her appreciation and emphasized the value of such support, especially in underserved rural areas.

Samoon Foundation representative Mr. J. P. Chamoli addressed the gathering and spoke about the Foundation’s broader mission of promoting education and holistic development in remote regions. He encouraged continued community support to ensure that children receive the care and resources they need for a better future.
