On January 22, 2025, the Anganwadi Center in Barnu 1 , T ehri Garhwal, was filled with
laughter, learning, and lively conversation as the Samoon Foundation arrived with their
winter aid initiative. More than just a sweater distribution, the day unfolded as a
heartfelt expression of care, community, and education.
Children beamed with joy as they received warm sweaters— small garments that
brought both physical comfort and emotional reassurance. But the warmth extended
far beyond the fabric. A special storytelling session led by Mr. Rajendra Singh Rangad,
the Foundation’s representative, captivated young minds with tales about winter
health and the value of education, leaving the children inspired and attentive.
Mrs. Sita Devi, Village Head of Barnu 1 , spoke with pride, calling the Foundation's work
“deeply inspirational,
” noting that their social interventions encompass far more than
material support— they touch lives through education, health, and holistic
development. Mrs. Manju Rana, Chief Anganwadi Worker, described how the initiative
sparked “new energy and enthusiasm” among the children, many of whom are
experiencing such engagement for the first time.
Parents and the Anganwadi Assistant were visibly moved by the happiness on their
children’s faces, praising the Foundation for its consistent compassion. W ith a mission
to nurture self- esteem, personal growth, and educational opportunities for every
child, the Samoon Foundation continues to demonstrate how true development
begins with kindness and continues with commitment.
