On 28 August 2024, the Samoon Foundation expanded its school uniform distribution campaign to the Samoon Excellence Coaching Center (SECC02), Mankatiya, Pithoragarh, a significant educational center located near the India–Nepal border. This initiative marked another important milestone in the Foundation’s mission to provide free uniforms to more than 4,000 students by December 2024.

Operating from the Shaheed Trilok Ram Kohli Library, which houses an impressive collection of over 20,000 books, SECC02 provides free academic coaching and guidance to students from remote villages. The center works towards ensuring that talented students from rural and underprivileged backgrounds receive the educational support required to pursue their dreams.

During the event, Center Director Mrs. Sonia Kohli personally distributed school uniforms among the students. This initiative reflects Samoon Foundation’s vision of providing children with essential resources such as uniforms, books, and academic support, enabling them to receive opportunities equal to students from urban areas.

The distribution of uniforms served as more than just material support; it strengthened students’ confidence, motivation, and sense of belonging. By creating a supportive learning environment, the Foundation continues to encourage students to focus on education and work towards their long-term goals.

28 अगस्त 2024 को समून फाउंडेशन ने अपनी स्कूल यूनिफॉर्म वितरण अभियान को समून एक्सीलेंस कोचिंग सेंटर (SECC02), मंकटिया, पिथौरागढ़ तक विस्तारित किया। भारत-नेपाल सीमा के निकट स्थित यह केंद्र दूरस्थ क्षेत्रों के विद्यार्थियों के लिए शिक्षा और मार्गदर्शन का एक महत्वपूर्ण माध्यम है। यह पहल दिसंबर 2024 तक 4,000 से अधिक विद्यार्थियों को निःशुल्क यूनिफॉर्म उपलब्ध कराने के फाउंडेशन के लक्ष्य की दिशा में एक और महत्वपूर्ण कदम रही।

On 23 August 2024, the inspiring story of Jimmy, a dog rescued from a critical condition, highlighted the power of compassion, determination, and selfless service. His journey became a reminder that kindness towards every living being can create meaningful change.

For three difficult days, Jimmy lay helpless on the roadside with severe injuries, including broken legs and a spinal fracture. Despite his condition, he remained unnoticed until Mrs. Mamta Chauhan learned about his situation and decided to step forward to help.

Deeply moved by Jimmy’s suffering, Mrs. Mamta Chauhan immediately contacted her husband, Mr. Uttam Chauhan, and together they began efforts to save his life. Despite the high treatment expenses and uncertain chances of recovery, Mamta Ji remained determined and continued searching for the best possible care.

With the support of a compassionate network, including Samoon Foundation Founder Mr. Vinod Jethudi, the required financial assistance and arrangements were made for Jimmy’s treatment. Even when an NGO hospital suggested that recovery was unlikely, Mamta Ji did not give up and continued her efforts. Eventually, Jimmy was taken to a specialized facility in Gurgaon, where he underwent surgery and began his journey towards recovery.

Today, Jimmy is gradually recovering and stands as a symbol of resilience, hope, and the impact of timely compassion.

Samoon Foundation proudly acknowledges Mrs. Mamta Chauhan’s dedication and empathy, which reflect the core values of compassion, service, and respect for life. Her efforts demonstrate that true kindness can overcome challenges and bring hope where it is needed most.

जिमी के उपचार एवं पुनर्वास हेतु मानवीय पहल – करुणा और सेवा की प्रेरणादायक कहानी

23 अगस्त 2024 को जिमी नामक एक कुत्ते की प्रेरणादायक कहानी सामने आई, जिसे गंभीर स्थिति से बचाने के लिए मानवीय संवेदना, दृढ़ संकल्प और सेवा भावना का अद्भुत उदाहरण प्रस्तुत किया गया। जिमी की यात्रा इस बात का प्रमाण बनी कि हर जीव के प्रति दया और करुणा समाज में सकारात्मक बदलाव ला सकती है।

लगातार तीन दिनों तक जिमी सड़क किनारे गंभीर अवस्था में पड़ा रहा। उसके पैर टूटे हुए थे और रीढ़ की हड्डी में भी चोट थी। उसकी पीड़ा पर किसी का ध्यान नहीं गया, लेकिन जब श्रीमती ममता चौहान को उसकी स्थिति के बारे में जानकारी मिली तो उन्होंने तुरंत सहायता के लिए कदम उठाया।

जिमी की हालत देखकर श्रीमती ममता चौहान ने अपने पति श्री उत्तम चौहान से संपर्क किया और दोनों ने मिलकर उसके जीवन को बचाने का प्रयास शुरू किया। इलाज का खर्च अधिक होने और स्थिति गंभीर होने के बावजूद ममता जी ने हिम्मत नहीं छोड़ी और जिमी के बेहतर उपचार के लिए लगातार प्रयास करती रहीं।

एक संवेदनशील सहयोगी नेटवर्क के माध्यम से, जिसमें समून फाउंडेशन के संस्थापक श्री विनोद जेठुड़ी का भी सहयोग शामिल था, जिमी के उपचार के लिए आवश्यक आर्थिक सहायता और व्यवस्थाएं जुटाई गईं। जब एक एनजीओ अस्पताल ने भी उसके ठीक होने की संभावना कम बताते हुए उपचार रोकने की सलाह दी, तब भी ममता जी ने प्रयास जारी रखे। अंततः जिमी को गुरुग्राम स्थित एक विशेषज्ञ केंद्र में ले जाया गया, जहां उसका ऑपरेशन किया गया और उसके स्वस्थ होने की प्रक्रिया शुरू हुई।

आज जिमी धीरे-धीरे स्वस्थ हो रहा है और उसकी कहानी संघर्ष, उम्मीद और समय पर मिली सहायता की शक्ति का प्रतीक बन चुकी है।

On 17 August 2024, Samoon Foundation extended its support towards a humanitarian cause by helping Neeraj, a young man from Kurn village who was struggling with a severe mental health condition. This intervention marked an important step towards ensuring care, dignity, and support for someone who had been facing prolonged hardship.

Neeraj’s challenges began at the age of 20 when his mental health condition gradually worsened, and the loss of both his parents further increased his difficulties. Without immediate family support, he spent years facing isolation and suffering.

The situation came to the attention of Samoon Foundation when Mr. Vijendra Kumar, Director of SCTI03, informed the Foundation’s Founder, Mr. Vinod Jethudi, about Neeraj’s condition. Understanding the urgency of the situation, Mr. Jethudi immediately initiated efforts for his support and rehabilitation.

With the combined efforts of Mr. Vinod Jethudi, Mr. Vijendra Kumar, and Neeraj’s uncle Mr. Vijay Singh, arrangements were made for Neeraj’s admission to Apna Ghar Ashram, Shukratal, where he could receive compassionate care and professional support.

Samoon Foundation, along with the local community, continues to hope and pray for Neeraj’s recovery and well-being. This initiative reflects the Foundation’s belief that timely support, compassion, and collective responsibility can bring meaningful change to the lives of vulnerable individuals.

नीरज के उपचार एवं पुनर्वास हेतु सहायता पहल

17 अगस्त 2024 को समून फाउंडेशन ने मानवता और संवेदनशीलता का परिचय देते हुए कुर्न गांव निवासी नीरज की सहायता के लिए पहल की, जो गंभीर मानसिक स्वास्थ्य समस्या से जूझ रहे थे। यह सहयोग उनके लंबे समय से चले आ रहे संघर्ष के बीच देखभाल, सम्मान और सहायता की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम साबित हुआ।

नीरज की कठिन परिस्थितियां 20 वर्ष की आयु से शुरू हुईं, जब उनकी मानसिक स्थिति धीरे-धीरे खराब होने लगी और माता-पिता दोनों के निधन ने उनकी परेशानियों को और बढ़ा दिया। तत्काल पारिवारिक सहारे के अभाव में उन्हें लंबे समय तक अकेलेपन और कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ा।

नीरज की स्थिति की जानकारी समून फाउंडेशन तक SCTI03 के निदेशक श्री विजेंद्र कुमार के माध्यम से पहुंची, जिन्होंने फाउंडेशन के संस्थापक श्री विनोद जेठुड़ी को इस विषय में अवगत कराया। स्थिति की गंभीरता को समझते हुए श्री जेठुड़ी ने तुरंत सहायता और पुनर्वास के लिए प्रयास शुरू किए।

श्री विनोद जेठुड़ी, श्री विजेंद्र कुमार और नीरज के चाचा श्री विजय सिंह के संयुक्त प्रयासों से नीरज को अपना घर आश्रम, शुक्रताल में भर्ती कराया गया, जहां उन्हें बेहतर देखभाल और आवश्यक सहयोग प्राप्त हो सके।

On 13 August 2024, Samoon Foundation expanded its School Uniform Distribution Campaign to one of Uttarakhand’s underserved communities by reaching Tribal Primary School Majravighi in Gadarpur, Udham Singh Nagar. This marked the seventeenth day of the initiative, reflecting the Foundation’s continued commitment to promoting educational equality among children from diverse and marginalized backgrounds.

The initiative began after Principal Mr. Manoj Choubey came across Samoon Foundation’s social work activities through social media and approached the Foundation for support. Understanding the need, the Foundation responded promptly and provided uniforms to all 55 students of the school, many of whom belong to the Buxa and other Scheduled Tribe communities.

Established in 1980, Tribal Primary School Majravighi has been serving as an important center for tribal education in the region. The distribution of uniforms aimed not only to meet the practical needs of students but also to provide them with a sense of dignity, confidence, and equal participation in the educational environment.

The program received enthusiastic support from school authorities, local representatives, community members, and Samoon Foundation representatives. Principal Mr. Manoj Choubey appreciated the initiative and highlighted how timely support like this helps remove barriers to education while encouraging children to attend school with greater confidence and motivation.

Samoon Foundation reaffirmed its mission of reducing educational disparities by ensuring that every child, regardless of social or economic background, receives access to essential educational resources and opportunities.

This marked the sixteenth day of the initiative, through which the Foundation continues its mission of providing essential educational resources to students and promoting equality in rural schools.

The distribution of uniforms is not only a step towards meeting the practical needs of students but also an effort to build confidence, encourage regular attendance, and create a sense of unity and belonging among children.

The event was attended by Headmaster Mr. Arjun Rana, Assistant Teacher Mr. Vijendra Singh, SCTI Instructor Mr. Vijendra Kumar, parents, and community members. Everyone expressed their appreciation for the Foundation’s efforts towards supporting children’s education.
