On October 5, 2024, the Samoon Foundation advanced its ongoing commitment to educational equity and well-being by distributing sweaters to students at

Government Primary School Khetu in Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. This latest stop in

the Foundation’s expansive uniform campaign brought warmth and encouragement

to children in one of the region’s remote communities.

The event witnessed the dedicated participation of Mr. Jai Prakash Chamoli, a long-

standing member of the Samoon Foundation, who facilitated the distribution. The

school’s teacher, Mr. Pradeep Narayan Ji, expressed deep gratitude, stating,

“We are thankful to every individual and organisation that made this initiative possible. Their

Support is a true investment in our children’s future”.

Assistant teacher Sanjay Ji echoed this sentiment, highlighting the broader impact: “This is not just a distribution of clothing — it is a step toward the moral and educational development of our

students.

On October 2, 2024, the students of Samoon Excellence Coaching Centre in

Pithoragarh gathered to commemorate the 1 55th birth anniversary of Mahatma

Gandhi, reflecting deeply on his enduring legacy of peace and social justice. The

celebration was not merely ceremonial but served as a meaningful platform for

students to engage with the principles that defined Gandhi's life — truth, non-

violence, and unity.





Through a series of thoughtful activities and discussions, students explored the

relevance of Gandhi's teachings in today's world, especially in fostering social

harmony and responsible citizenship. The event aimed to cultivate moral values

among the youth, encouraging them to embrace compassion and resolve conflicts

A Lifeline of Hope — Samoon Foundation Supports Sunita Pawar’s Cancer Battle

The Samoon Foundation exemplified the power of collective compassion by transferring ₹21,000 to the account of Priya, daughter of Sunita Pawar Ji, to assist with her mother’s critical cancer treatment. This heartfelt initiative stands as a testament to the Foundation’s enduring commitment to supporting individuals facing life-threatening cha Lenges. A resident of Pauri Garhwal, Sunita Ji has endured profound personal losses — the passing of both her parents and her husband — leaving her to care for three children alone while battling cancer. With mounting medical expenses and logistical barriers to chemotherapy, the family appealed for help. The Samoon Foundation's network quickly responded, mobilizing donations and promising continued support. On the same day, Sunita Jiwas successfuly admitted to Himalayan Hospital, Joly Grant, Dehradun, where she began her treatment journey. This timely intervention reflects the Foundation’s mission to stand with the most vulnerable during their darkest hours. The Samoon community collectively prays for Sunita Ji’s recovery, demonstrating that empathy and solidarity can bring not only financial aid but also hope and strength in the face of adversity

The Samoon Foundation continued its dedicated mission to equip 4,000 underprivileged children with school uniforms by December 2024, reaching the Anganwadi Center in Village Musadhung-1, Rudraprayag. Here, the Foundation distributed warm sweaters to the youngest learners, offering both comfort and encouragement as winter approached. Mr. Darmiyan Singh JakwalJi, representing the Foundation, personally facilitated the distribution and applauded members who contribute a portion of their earnings to support these grassroots initiatives. Angan wadihead worker Mrs. Shakuntala Devi expressed deep appreciation, remarking, “The organization is doing commendable work for society; we should all support such efforts.” Village head Mrs. Sundari Devi called the gesture an “excellent present for little children,” emphasizing its timely importance as temperatures begin to drop. the Samoon Foundation demonstrated its continued commitment to community welfare by distributing sweaters to every child at the Anganwadi Center in Vilage Musadhung-2, Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand.
