Our goal was not just to clean the banks, but to make people aware — to stop polluting Maa Ganga in the future. Real success comes only when every citizen takes ownership. This mission will continue until cleanliness becomes a public movement.

Ganga is not just a river, but the soul of Indian culture — known as Devnadi, Jahnavi, Vishnupada. Yet today, the same Ganga whose waters were once considered the purest is polluted by factory waste, drains, and garbage from our cities.  

On 31/01/2016, Samoon Foundation held a cleanliness awareness rally and Ganga cleaning drive at Triveni Ghat from 10 AM to 2 PM. We cleaned the ghats and appealed to every citizen: our villages, streets, cities, and workplaces must be kept clean. Only when we all join this mission can we truly build a Swachh Bharat and restore the purity of Maa Ganga.

गंगा, एक नदी ही नहीं बल्कि भारतीय संस्कृति की एक गौरवशाली पहचान है — देवनदी, जाह्नवी, विष्णुपदा। लेकिन आज वही गंगा, जिसका जल कभी सबसे पवित्र माना जाता था, कारखानों, नदी-नालों और शहरों के कचरे से मैली हो रही है।  

31/01/2016 को समून फाउंडेशन ने त्रिवेणी घाट पर सुबह 10 से 2 बजे तक स्वच्छता जागरूकता रैली और गंगा सफाई अभियान चलाया। हमने घाटों की सफाई की और हर नागरिक से आग्रह किया: अपने गाँव, गली, मोहल्ले, शहर और कार्यस्थल को स्वच्छ बनाएं। जब तक हम सब इस अभियान से नहीं जुड़ेंगे, स्वच्छ भारत और पवित्र गंगा का सपना पूरा नहीं होगा।  

आओ मिलकर एक सुन्दर और स्वच्छ भारत का निर्माण करेँ और सपथ लेँ कि हम अपने घर, मुहल्ले, गाँव, गली, शहर और कार्य स्थल को स्वच्छ रखेँगे ।

 On 27 & 28 April 2015, Team Samoon organized a career guidance and counselling camp at Govt. Inter College, Kandikhal. Students from the hills got direction, clarity, and support to choose their future paths. Because every child deserves a chance to dream big.

Blankets Distribution (ठंड से लड़ाई, साथ मिलकर)

                                                           *Fighting the Cold, Together*  

December and January bring harsh, biting cold. While most of us protect ourselves at home with warm clothes, quilts, and blankets, the reality is very different for many others.  

On the streets, people were forced to spend nights under the open sky. With no shelter, they lit small fires and huddled together just to survive the freezing temperatures. The cold was merciless, and every night was a struggle.  

Seeing this, Team Samoon took a small but important step. We went out and distributed blankets to those who had no protection from the winter. The goal was simple — to help them fight the cold and sleep without shivering.  

A blanket cannot solve everything, but that night, it meant warmth, safety, and the assurance that someone cared.

                                                          *ठंड से लड़ाई, साथ मिलकर*  

दिसम्बर और जनवरी की ठंड कड़कड़ाती है। जहाँ हम में से ज़्यादातर लोग घरों में गरम कपड़े, रजाई और कम्बल से खुद को बचाते हैं, वहीं कई लोगों की हकीकत बिल्कुल अलग है।  

सड़कों पर लोग खुले आसमान के नीचे रात बिताने को मजबूर थे। बिना किसी छत के, वे छोटी-छोटी आग जलाकर और एक-दूसरे के पास सिमटकर ठंड से बचने की कोशिश कर रहे थे। ठंड बेरहम थी, और हर रात एक संघर्ष थी।  

यह देखकर टीम समून ने एक छोटा लेकिन ज़रूरी कदम उठाया। हमने बाहर जाकर उन लोगों को कम्बल बाँटे जिनके पास सर्दी से बचाव का कोई साधन नहीं था। मकसद बस इतना था — उन्हें ठंड से लड़ने में मदद करना ताकि वे बिना काँपे सो सकें।  

एक कम्बल सब कुछ नहीं बदल सकता, पर उस रात उसका मतलब था गर्माहट, सुरक्षा और यह भरोसा कि कोई उनका ख्याल रख रहा है।

The Career Guidance Camp organized by Samoon Foundation was successfully conducted on 27–28 April 2015 at Government Inter College, Chidiyala, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. The two-day camp was attended by experienced mentors, including Mr. Dinesh Singh Negi, along with Samoon Foundation members and professional counselors, who guided students on career planning, higher education, personality development, and future opportunities.
Around 200 students actively participated in interactive sessions, educational activities, essay writing, and general knowledge competitions. Educational books were also distributed to the students, encouraging them to continue their learning journey. The foundation expressed gratitude to all donors, volunteers, and supporters whose contributions made the camp a success.
The camp concluded by recognizing the winners of various competitions and inspiring students to pursue their goals with confidence. The initiative strengthened students’ awareness, motivation, and preparedness for a brighter future.

27–28 अप्रैल 2015 को राजकीय इंटरमीडिएट कॉलेज, चिड़ियाला, टिहरी गढ़वाल, उत्तराखंड में समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा आयोजित करियर मार्गदर्शन शिविर का सफलतापूर्वक आयोजन किया गया। दो दिवसीय शिविर में श्री दिनेश सिंह नेगी सहित अनुभवी मार्गदर्शकों, समूण फाउंडेशन के सदस्यों एवं प्रोफेशनल काउंसलर्स ने विद्यार्थियों को करियर, उच्च शिक्षा, व्यक्तित्व विकास तथा भविष्य की संभावनाओं के बारे में मार्गदर्शन प्रदान किया।
लगभग 200 विद्यार्थियों ने इस शिविर में उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया। विद्यार्थियों के लिए निबंध एवं सामान्य ज्ञान प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन किया गया तथा शैक्षणिक पुस्तकें वितरित की गईं। समूण फाउंडेशन ने इस शिविर को सफल बनाने में सहयोग देने वाले सभी दानदाताओं, स्वयंसेवकों और सहयोगियों के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया।

शिविर के समापन पर प्रतियोगिताओं के विजेताओं को सम्मानित किया गया और विद्यार्थियों को अपने लक्ष्य निर्धारित कर आत्मविश्वास के साथ आगे बढ़ने के लिए प्रेरित किया गया। इस पहल ने विद्यार्थियों में नई ऊर्जा, जागरूकता और उज्ज्वल भविष्य के प्रति विश्वास विकसित किया।

Greetings! As all of you knows that SAMOON FOUNDATION is going to do a CAREER GUIDANCE camping on 27th & 28th April in Govt. Inter College Kandikhal Tehri gadhwal to give proper career guidance to our students so they can choose their path correctly.The motive behind it to give them a confidence, a support and guidance through this camp. There will be GK competition for 6th to 9th class students and an essay competition for 10th to 12th class students. Students will be asking their question which will be answered by our career expert on that day. The winner of GK competition and essay competition will be rewarded by 1st, 2nd, 3rd trophies and certificate accordingly. Rest of participants will be rewarded by certificate of participate. Project will be followed by an analysis of students on bases of their eligibility like students whose are intelligent and talented but because of financial issues they are not able to give their best in studies or not able to continue it. Samoon Foundation successfully organized a Student Guidance Camp on 27–28 April 2015 at Government Inter College, Chidiyala, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. The camp aimed to support students in their academic, mental, moral, and personality development while providing career guidance for their future.During the two-day camp, professional counselors and members of Samoon Foundation guided students on higher education, career opportunities, and personal development. Educational books were distributed to around 200 students, and motivational sessions, personality development activities, and various competitions were conducted to encourage confidence and learning.The camp benefited students from economically weaker backgrounds by providing them with knowledge, motivation, and direction for their future. Through this initiative, Samoon Foundation inspired young minds and helped them take a positive step toward achieving their educational and career goals.

The Samoon Foundation successfully organized a two-day Student Guidance Camp on April 27–28, 2015, at Government Inter College, Kandikhal. The main objective of this initiative was to guide students during a crucial phase of their lives, where personality development takes shape. The program focused on the proper utilization of time and encouraged students to develop physically, mentally, intellectually, and spiritually, thereby building a strong foundation for a successful life.

The camp aimed to provide proper guidance, motivation, and support to talented, underprivileged, and orphan students. Various sessions were conducted to promote discipline, confidence, and overall personality development. Special recognition and encouragement were also given to meritorious students. The foundation also emphasized providing financial and educational support to deserving students, along with vocational training and employment opportunities.

Additionally, efforts were made to support orphaned and differently-abled students through education and skill development. Through such camps, students were introduced to various personality development activities and were provided training and guidance for a better future.

The Samoon family reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the education of talented students and appealed to society to contribute toward this noble cause. People were encouraged to adopt and support at least one student's education and become a part of this meaningful journey, as service to humanity is the greatest duty.

विद्यार्थी मार्गदर्शन शिविर

समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा 27–28 अप्रैल 2015 को राजकीय इंटर कॉलेज, कंडिखाल में दो दिवसीय विद्यार्थी मार्गदर्शन शिविर सफलतापूर्वक आयोजित किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम का मुख्य उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों के जीवन के महत्वपूर्ण चरण में उनका मार्गदर्शन करना था, जहां उनके व्यक्तित्व की नींव तैयार होती है। कार्यक्रम में समय के सदुपयोग पर विशेष जोर दिया गया तथा विद्यार्थियों के शारीरिक, मानसिक, बौद्धिक एवं आध्यात्मिक विकास पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया गया।

इस शिविर का उद्देश्य मेधावी, आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर एवं अनाथ विद्यार्थियों को उचित मार्गदर्शन, प्रोत्साहन एवं सहयोग प्रदान करना था। शिविर के दौरान अनुशासन, आत्मविश्वास और व्यक्तित्व विकास से संबंधित विभिन्न सत्र आयोजित किए गए। चयनित मेधावी विद्यार्थियों को विशेष सम्मान भी प्रदान किया गया। साथ ही आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर विद्यार्थियों को शिक्षा हेतु सहयोग एवं रोजगार उन्मुख प्रशिक्षण प्रदान करने पर भी जोर दिया गया।

अनाथ एवं दिव्यांग विद्यार्थियों के लिए शिक्षा और प्रशिक्षण की विशेष व्यवस्था पर भी ध्यान दिया गया। इस प्रकार के शिविरों के माध्यम से विद्यार्थियों को विभिन्न विकासात्मक गतिविधियों से अवगत कराया गया और उनके उज्ज्वल भविष्य के लिए मार्गदर्शन प्रदान किया गया।

समूण परिवार ने ऐसे होनहार विद्यार्थियों की शिक्षा के लिए सहयोग जारी रखने का संकल्प लिया और समाज से अपील की कि वे इस पुनीत कार्य में भागीदार बनें। कम से कम एक विद्यार्थी की शिक्षा का सहयोग करके सभी को मानव सेवा के इस महान कार्य में योगदान देने के लिए प्रेरित किया गया।

Blanket distribution drive (कँबल वितरण कार्यक्रम)

Blanket Distribution Drive

Date: January 2015

Location: Dehradun and Rishikesh, Uttarakhand

The Samoon Group successfully completed its blanket distribution drive during a cold winter night. The Dehradun team gathered at Rispana Bridge at 9:00 PM and, along with the team arriving from Rishikesh, began their journey across Dehradun city at 10:00 PM. Starting from ISBT, they covered areas including Patel Nagar, Prince Chowk, Ghantaghar, Parade Ground, Rajpur Road, Paltan Bazaar, and Doon Hospital, providing warmth (“Samoon”) to those in need.

Later, at around 1:00 AM, the team proceeded to Rishikesh. Passing through Nepali Farm, they visited Shyampur, Gumaniwala, Triveni Ghat, Shisham Jhadi, Ram Jhula, and Laxman Jhula. The team continued distributing blankets until 4:00 AM to ensure that help reached the most needy. The activity was carried out at night to directly support people exposed to the harsh cold.

During the drive, some team members became emotional upon witnessing the difficult conditions in which people were living—pregnant women, children, and elderly individuals were forced to spend the night under plastic sheets. Although the team could not reach everyone, they ensured that their support reached those who truly needed it.

The Samoon Group expressed its commitment to continue such humanitarian efforts and encouraged others to join in serving society, emphasizing that service to humanity is the greatest duty.

The team included:

कंबल वितरण कार्यक्रम

दिनांक: जनवरी 2015

स्थान: देहरादून एवं ऋषिकेश, उत्तराखंड

समूण ग्रुप का कंबल वितरण कार्यक्रम सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न हुआ। देहरादून की टीम रात 9:00 बजे रिस्पना पुल पर एकत्रित हुई और ऋषिकेश से आई टीम के साथ मिलकर 10:00 बजे शहर के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों का भ्रमण किया। आईएसबीटी से शुरुआत करते हुए टीम ने पटेलनगर, प्रिंस चौक, घंटाघर, परेड ग्राउंड, राजपुर रोड, पलटन बाजार और दून अस्पताल तक जरूरतमंद लोगों को “समूण” (गर्माहट) प्रदान की।

इसके बाद टीम ने रात 1:00 बजे ऋषिकेश के लिए प्रस्थान किया और नेपाली फार्म, श्यामपुर, गुमानीवाला, त्रिवेणी घाट, शिशम झाड़ी, राम झूला और लक्ष्मण झूला क्षेत्रों में भ्रमण किया। सुबह 4:00 बजे तक टीम जरूरतमंदों को कंबल वितरित करती रही। यह कार्य विशेष रूप से रात में इसलिए किया गया ताकि ठंड में खुले में रहने वाले लोगों तक सीधी सहायता पहुंच सके।

इस दौरान कुछ टीम सदस्य भावुक हो गए जब उन्होंने देखा कि गर्भवती महिलाएं, बच्चे और बुजुर्ग केवल प्लास्टिक की एक पॉलिथीन के नीचे रात बिताने को मजबूर थे।

हालांकि टीम हर व्यक्ति तक नहीं पहुंच सकी, लेकिन जिन तक सहायता पहुंची, उन्हें वास्तव में इसकी अत्यधिक आवश्यकता थी। समूण ग्रुप ने आगे भी ऐसे मानवीय कार्यों को जारी रखने का संकल्प लिया और सभी से इस नेक कार्य में जुड़ने की अपील की, यह बताते हुए कि मानव सेवा ही सबसे बड़ा धर्म है।
