Medical Help for Kulanand Bahuguna ji(कुलानन्द बहुगुणा जी के लिए चिकित्सा सहायता)

                                          *Medical Help for Kulanand Bahuguna Ji*

During the wedding of Team Samoon member Ankit Bahuguna, a tragic accident occurred. A heavy, shade-filled ‘patila’ accidentally fell on Kulanand Bahuguna Ji. He was rushed to the nearest hospital in Anand Kanan and then admitted to the ICU of Indresh Hospital, Dehradun, in critical condition. Kulanand Bahuguna Ji belongs to a poor family and runs his household with great difficulty.  

Kulanand Ji is from village Bhatti, Tehsil Ghansali, District Tehri Garhwal — the same village as Team Samoon member Vivek Khudiyal Ji. On Vivek Ji’s initiative, the entire Team Samoon came together and raised ₹13,250/- as financial help for Kulanand Ji’s treatment, as a gesture of humanity.

सम्पूर्ण टीम के सदस्य अंकित बहुगुणा जी की शादी में दुर्घटनावश कुलानन्द बहुगुणा जी के ऊपर छाया से भरा भारी पटिला उलट गया। आनंद कानन में उन्हें नजदीकी अस्पताल ले जाया गया, तदोपरांत उनको देहरादून में इन्द्रेश हॉस्पिटल के आईसीयू में बहुत बुरी हालत में भर्ती कराया गया। कुलानन्द बहुगुणा जी बहुत ही गरीब परिवार से हैं और बड़ी मुश्किल से अपने परिवार का आर्थिक खर्चा चलाते हैं, जिस कारण वे यह हॉस्पिटल के खर्च उठाने में समर्थ नहीं थे।  

कुलानन्द बहुगुणा जी गाँव - भाटी, तहसील - घनसाली, जिला टिहरी गढ़वाल के रहने वाले हैं, जो कि सम्पूर्ण टीम के सदस्य विवेक खुदियाल जी का भी गाँव है। उन्हीं की पहल पर सम्पूर्ण टीम कुलानन्द बहुगुणा जी के इलाज के लिये एक छोटी सी आर्थिक सहायता प्रदान करने में सक्षम रही।  

मानवता के नाते कुलानन्द जी के इलाज के लिये सम्पूर्ण टीम के सदस्यों ने ₹13,250/- रुपये की आर्थिक सहायता प्रदान की।

Help of pahadi bhula send back to India(हरप्रीत की आज़ादी की लंबी लड़ाई)

*Date: March – 3 May, 2016*  

*Location: Sharjah, UAE*  

Harpreet Singh, a Pahadi youth, worked at a restaurant in Sharjah for one and a half years. Promised ₹20,000 salary in India, he received only 800 Dirhams monthly, paid irregularly. He worked 14-16 hours daily with no day off and ₹35,000 visa charges were deducted from his salary. When he asked to return to India, the owner threatened to file a case, jail him for a year, and keep his passport.  

Team Samoon filed a complaint with the Ministry of Labour on 10 March 2016. The owner skipped the 3 April hearing. In the second hearing, his representative was ordered to cancel the visa and return the passport, but nothing happened. Further hearings on 7 and 10 April also failed as the owner remained absent and the case was closed.  

We approached the Indian Consulate, Dubai, and police, but the owner still refused. A fresh complaint was filed on 18 April. After repeated pressure from the Consulate, the visa was cancelled on 29 April — yet the passport was not returned. Harpreet had been thrown out of his room on 10 March and lived hungry on the streets for three months, unpaid for the last three months too.  

The owner finally agreed to give the passport only if Harpreet bought his own ticket first. With no guarantee of release, Team Samoon purchased his ticket and sent him safely back to India on 3 May 2016.  

This is a warning to all brothers dreaming of working abroad: verify every document and job contract before leaving. Many get trapped and suffer. Think and inquire first. For information on any country or company, contact us.

                                        *हरप्रीत की आज़ादी की लंबी लड़ाई*  

*दिनांक: मार्च – 3 मई, 2016*  

*स्थान: शारजाह, यूएई*  

शारजाह के एक रेस्टोरेंट में काम करने वाला पहाड़ी युवक हरप्रीत सिंह पिछले डेढ़ साल से शोषण झेल रहा था। भारत में 20 हजार रुपये सैलरी का वादा कर उसे सिर्फ 800 दिरहम मिलते थे, वो भी अनियमित। 14-16 घंटे काम, एक भी छुट्टी नहीं, और 35,000 रुपये वीजा चार्ज उसकी सैलरी से काटे जा रहे थे। भारत लौटने की बात पर मालिक ने केस कर एक साल जेल भेजने और पासपोर्ट न देने की धमकी दी।  

टीम समून ने 10 मार्च 2016 को मिनिस्ट्री ऑफ लेबर में केस दर्ज किया। 3 अप्रैल की सुनवाई में मालिक नहीं आया। दूसरी सुनवाई में प्रतिनिधि को वीजा कैंसल कर पासपोर्ट लौटाने का आदेश मिला, पर अमल नहीं हुआ। 7 और 10 अप्रैल की सुनवाई में भी मालिक गैरहाजिर रहा और केस बंद हो गया।  

हमने इंडियन काउंसलेट, दुबई व पुलिस से मदद मांगी, लेकिन मालिक नहीं माना। 18 अप्रैल को दोबारा कंप्लेंट की। काउंसलेट के दबाव के बाद 29 अप्रैल को वीजा कैंसल हुआ, पर पासपोर्ट नहीं मिला। हरप्रीत को 10 मार्च को ही कमरे से निकाल दिया गया था और वह तीन महीने से भूखा-प्यासा सड़कों पर था। आखिरी तीन महीने की सैलरी भी नहीं मिली।  

आखिरकार मालिक इस शर्त पर माना कि पहले टिकट खरीद कर एयरपोर्ट पर दिया जाए। पासपोर्ट मिलने की तारीख तय न होने से हरप्रीत परेशान था। अंत में टीम समून ने खुद टिकट खरीदा और 3 मई 2016 को उसे सकुशल भारत भेजा।

Bringing Rajamani home(राजामणि की घर वापसी)

Rajamani, a South Indian laborer working at a restaurant in Sharjah, was forced to work without salary. When he asked for wages, the owner threatened to kill him and even called his family in India to harass his wife and children. Desperate to return home but denied his passport, he reached out to Team Samoon.  
We first sought help from the Indian Association in Sharjah. When support didn’t come, we filed a complaint with the Ministry of Labour. The owner was summoned and ordered to send Rajamani back without harassment. After further intervention with the Immigration Department, his passport and ticket were returned within a month. Today, Rajamani is safely back in India. Many like him still suffer in silence — our effort is to stand with each one.

शारजाह में एक रेस्टोरेंट में काम करने वाले दक्षिण भारतीय मजदूर राजामणि से बिना सैलरी के काम कराया जा रहा था। तनख्वाह मांगने पर मालिक ने उसे मारने की धमकी दी और भारत में उसके परिवार को भी धमकाया। राजामणि भारत लौटना चाहता था, लेकिन पासपोर्ट नहीं दिया जा रहा था।  
जब वह हमारे पास आया तो हमने पहले शारजाह में इंडियन एसोसिएशन से मदद मांगी। सहयोग न मिलने पर मिनिस्ट्री ऑफ लेबर में शिकायत दर्ज की। मालिक को बुलाया गया और राजामणि को बिना परेशान किए भारत भेजने का आदेश दिया गया। इमिग्रेशन डिपार्टमेंट में शिकायत के बाद एक महीने में उसका पासपोर्ट और टिकट वापस मिला। आज राजामणि सुरक्षित भारत लौट चुका है। ऐसे न जाने कितने राजामणि अभी भी यातनाएं सह रहे हैं — हमारी कोशिश हर एक के साथ खड़े होने की है।

 Samoon Sanstha’s ‘Swachh Bharat ki Pavitra Ganga’ campaign concluded successfully. Team Samoon thanks every volunteer who served with true devotion and helped clean the ghats along the Ganga. Our goal was not just to clean the banks, but to make people aware — to stop polluting Maa Ganga in the future. Real success comes only when every citizen takes ownership. This mission will continue until cleanliness becomes a public movement.

समून संस्था का ‘स्वच्छ भारत की पवित्र गंगा’ कार्यक्रम सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न हुआ। टीम समून उन सभी लोगों का तहेदिल से धन्यवाद करती है जिन्होंने सच्चे सेवा भाव से गंगा के किनारों के घाटों को स्वच्छ किया। हमारा मकसद सिर्फ सफाई करना नहीं था, बल्कि लोगों को जागरूक करना था ताकि आगे से गंगा माँ को प्रदूषित होने से बचाया जा सके। जब तक हर जन मानस इस स्वच्छता अभियान से नहीं जुड़ेगा, तब तक सफलता नहीं मिलेगी। यह मिशन आगे भी जारी रहेगा।

Saving the Soul of Bharat (भारत की पवित्र गँगा - स्वच्छता जागरुकता रैली व गँगा सफाई अभियान )

Ganga is not just a river, but the soul of Indian culture — known as Devnadi, Jahnavi, Vishnupada. Yet today, the same Ganga whose waters were once considered the purest is polluted by factory waste, drains, and garbage from our cities.  

On 31/01/2016, Samoon Foundation held a cleanliness awareness rally and Ganga cleaning drive at Triveni Ghat from 10 AM to 2 PM. We cleaned the ghats and appealed to every citizen: our villages, streets, cities, and workplaces must be kept clean. Only when we all join this mission can we truly build a Swachh Bharat and restore the purity of Maa Ganga.

गंगा, एक नदी ही नहीं बल्कि भारतीय संस्कृति की एक गौरवशाली पहचान है — देवनदी, जाह्नवी, विष्णुपदा। लेकिन आज वही गंगा, जिसका जल कभी सबसे पवित्र माना जाता था, कारखानों, नदी-नालों और शहरों के कचरे से मैली हो रही है।  

31/01/2016 को समून फाउंडेशन ने त्रिवेणी घाट पर सुबह 10 से 2 बजे तक स्वच्छता जागरूकता रैली और गंगा सफाई अभियान चलाया। हमने घाटों की सफाई की और हर नागरिक से आग्रह किया: अपने गाँव, गली, मोहल्ले, शहर और कार्यस्थल को स्वच्छ बनाएं। जब तक हम सब इस अभियान से नहीं जुड़ेंगे, स्वच्छ भारत और पवित्र गंगा का सपना पूरा नहीं होगा।  

आओ मिलकर एक सुन्दर और स्वच्छ भारत का निर्माण करेँ और सपथ लेँ कि हम अपने घर, मुहल्ले, गाँव, गली, शहर और कार्य स्थल को स्वच्छ रखेँगे ।

 On 27 & 28 April 2015, Team Samoon organized a career guidance and counselling camp at Govt. Inter College, Kandikhal. Students from the hills got direction, clarity, and support to choose their future paths. Because every child deserves a chance to dream big.

Blankets Distribution (ठंड से लड़ाई, साथ मिलकर)

                                                           *Fighting the Cold, Together*  

December and January bring harsh, biting cold. While most of us protect ourselves at home with warm clothes, quilts, and blankets, the reality is very different for many others.  

On the streets, people were forced to spend nights under the open sky. With no shelter, they lit small fires and huddled together just to survive the freezing temperatures. The cold was merciless, and every night was a struggle.  

Seeing this, Team Samoon took a small but important step. We went out and distributed blankets to those who had no protection from the winter. The goal was simple — to help them fight the cold and sleep without shivering.  

A blanket cannot solve everything, but that night, it meant warmth, safety, and the assurance that someone cared.

                                                          *ठंड से लड़ाई, साथ मिलकर*  

दिसम्बर और जनवरी की ठंड कड़कड़ाती है। जहाँ हम में से ज़्यादातर लोग घरों में गरम कपड़े, रजाई और कम्बल से खुद को बचाते हैं, वहीं कई लोगों की हकीकत बिल्कुल अलग है।  

सड़कों पर लोग खुले आसमान के नीचे रात बिताने को मजबूर थे। बिना किसी छत के, वे छोटी-छोटी आग जलाकर और एक-दूसरे के पास सिमटकर ठंड से बचने की कोशिश कर रहे थे। ठंड बेरहम थी, और हर रात एक संघर्ष थी।  

यह देखकर टीम समून ने एक छोटा लेकिन ज़रूरी कदम उठाया। हमने बाहर जाकर उन लोगों को कम्बल बाँटे जिनके पास सर्दी से बचाव का कोई साधन नहीं था। मकसद बस इतना था — उन्हें ठंड से लड़ने में मदद करना ताकि वे बिना काँपे सो सकें।  

एक कम्बल सब कुछ नहीं बदल सकता, पर उस रात उसका मतलब था गर्माहट, सुरक्षा और यह भरोसा कि कोई उनका ख्याल रख रहा है।

Career Guidance Camp 2015 (मार्गदर्शन शिविर 2015 – सफल आयोजन)

                          Career Guidance Camp 2015 – Successful Completion

Date: 27–28 April 2015
Location: Government Inter College, Chidiyala, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand

The Career Guidance Camp organized by Samoon Foundation was successfully conducted on 27–28 April 2015 at Government Inter College, Chidiyala, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. The two-day camp was attended by experienced mentors, including Mr. Dinesh Singh Negi, along with Samoon Foundation members and professional counselors, who guided students on career planning, higher education, personality development, and future opportunities.
Around 200 students actively participated in interactive sessions, educational activities, essay writing, and general knowledge competitions. Educational books were also distributed to the students, encouraging them to continue their learning journey. The foundation expressed gratitude to all donors, volunteers, and supporters whose contributions made the camp a success.
The camp concluded by recognizing the winners of various competitions and inspiring students to pursue their goals with confidence. The initiative strengthened students’ awareness, motivation, and preparedness for a brighter future.

                                                करियर मार्गदर्शन शिविर 2015 – सफल आयोजन

दिनांक: 27–28 अप्रैल 2015
स्थान: राजकीय इंटरमीडिएट कॉलेज, चिड़ियाला, टिहरी गढ़वाल, उत्तराखंड

27–28 अप्रैल 2015 को राजकीय इंटरमीडिएट कॉलेज, चिड़ियाला, टिहरी गढ़वाल, उत्तराखंड में समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा आयोजित करियर मार्गदर्शन शिविर का सफलतापूर्वक आयोजन किया गया। दो दिवसीय शिविर में श्री दिनेश सिंह नेगी सहित अनुभवी मार्गदर्शकों, समूण फाउंडेशन के सदस्यों एवं प्रोफेशनल काउंसलर्स ने विद्यार्थियों को करियर, उच्च शिक्षा, व्यक्तित्व विकास तथा भविष्य की संभावनाओं के बारे में मार्गदर्शन प्रदान किया।
लगभग 200 विद्यार्थियों ने इस शिविर में उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया। विद्यार्थियों के लिए निबंध एवं सामान्य ज्ञान प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन किया गया तथा शैक्षणिक पुस्तकें वितरित की गईं। समूण फाउंडेशन ने इस शिविर को सफल बनाने में सहयोग देने वाले सभी दानदाताओं, स्वयंसेवकों और सहयोगियों के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया।

शिविर के समापन पर प्रतियोगिताओं के विजेताओं को सम्मानित किया गया और विद्यार्थियों को अपने लक्ष्य निर्धारित कर आत्मविश्वास के साथ आगे बढ़ने के लिए प्रेरित किया गया। इस पहल ने विद्यार्थियों में नई ऊर्जा, जागरूकता और उज्ज्वल भविष्य के प्रति विश्वास विकसित किया।
