Daughters’ Wedding Support Initiative / बेटियों के विवाह सहयोग अभियान

Samoon Foundation launched a special initiative to support the marriage of economically disadvantaged and fatherless daughters. Every parent dreams of giving their daughter a respectful farewell, but due to difficult circumstances, some single mothers and families are unable to fulfil this dream.
This year, Samoon Foundation has decided to support the marriage arrangements of four extremely underprivileged and fatherless girls and appeals to everyone to contribute towards this noble cause.
Our First Daughter – Laxmi
Laxmi is from Mahad village, Devprayag. Her father passed away 12 years ago. Since then, her mother Smt. Vinodari Devi has been supporting the family by washing utensils at local weddings and doing daily wage labour. Their house is in a very poor condition and requires urgent attention.
Our Second Daughter – Shivani
Shivani belongs to Bindua village, Kharasadi Post Office, Tehri Garhwal. Her father passed away many years ago, and her mother Smt. Guddi Devi is solely responsible for taking care of the entire family.
Our Third Daughter – Karishma
Karishma is from Kathud village, Pauri Garhwal. Her father passed away several years ago, and since then her mother Smt. Kaushalya Devi has been raising her and her four children with great hardship.
Our Fourth Daughter – Pooja
Pooja is from Budkot village, Hindolakhal, Tehri Garhwal. Both her parents passed away several years ago. Her elderly grandmother Smt. Sundara Devi, a widow, supports Pooja and her four siblings through widow pension and daily wage work under MNREGA.
All four girls belong to extremely poor families and are facing severe financial difficulties. Sometimes their families struggle even to arrange basic food. In such circumstances, bearing wedding expenses is beyond their capacity, leaving temple marriage as the only option.
Every daughter dreams of leaving her parental home with dignity. Through this initiative, Samoon Foundation has taken a step to help these daughters fulfil that dream. With your support, we can make this effort successful.

हर माता-पिता का सपना होता है कि वे अपनी बेटी को राजकुमारी की तरह सम्मान और खुशी के साथ विदा करें। लेकिन कुछ परिस्थितियों के कारण कई एकल माताएं और गरीब परिवार अपनी बेटियों के विवाह का खर्च उठाने में असमर्थ होते हैं।
इसी उद्देश्य से इस वर्ष समूण फाउंडेशन ने 4 अति निर्धन एवं पितृविहीन कन्याओं के विवाह हेतु सहयोग करने का संकल्प लिया है। आप सभी से निवेदन है कि इस पुण्य कार्य में यथासंभव सहयोग के लिए आगे आएं।
हमारी पहली बिटिया – लक्ष्मी
लक्ष्मी महड़ गांव, देवप्रयाग की रहने वाली है। उनके पिता का निधन 12 वर्ष पूर्व हो गया था। तब से उनकी माता श्रीमती विनोदरी देवी जी गांव में शादियों में बर्तन धोकर और दिहाड़ी मजदूरी करके परिवार का पालन-पोषण कर रही हैं। घर की स्थिति अत्यंत खराब है और कभी भी दुर्घटना की संभावना बनी रहती है।
हमारी दूसरी बिटिया – शिवानी
शिवानी बिंदुवा गांव, पोस्ट ऑफिस खरसाड़ी, टिहरी गढ़वाल की रहने वाली हैं। इनके पिता का निधन कई वर्षों पूर्व हो चुका है और माता श्रीमती गुड्डी देवी जी ही पूरे परिवार की जिम्मेदारी संभाल रही हैं।
हमारी तीसरी बिटिया – करिश्मा
करिश्मा कठुड गांव, पौड़ी गढ़वाल की रहने वाली हैं। इनके पिता का निधन कई वर्षों पूर्व हो चुका है। तब से उनकी माता श्रीमती कौशल्या देवी जी अपने एवं अपने चारों बच्चों का पालन-पोषण कठिन परिस्थितियों में कर रही हैं।
हमारी चौथी बिटिया – पूजा
पूजा बुड़कोट गांव, हिंडोलाखाल, टिहरी गढ़वाल की रहने वाली हैं। इनके माता-पिता का निधन कई वर्षों पूर्व हो चुका है। उनकी बुजुर्ग विधवा दादी श्रीमती सुंदरा देवी जी विधवा पेंशन और मनरेगा में मजदूरी करके पूजा एवं उनके चार भाई-बहनों का पालन-पोषण कर रही हैं।
ये सभी बेटियां अत्यंत गरीब परिवारों से हैं और इनकी आर्थिक स्थिति बहुत दयनीय है। कई बार घर में भोजन की व्यवस्था करना भी कठिन हो जाता है। ऐसी परिस्थितियों में विवाह का खर्च उठाना इनके परिवारों के लिए संभव नहीं है।
हर बेटी का सपना होता है कि वह सम्मान के साथ डोली में बैठकर विदा हो। इन बेटियों के इस सपने को पूरा करने के लिए समूण फाउंडेशन ने एक छोटा सा प्रयास किया है। आपके सहयोग से यह प्रयास अवश्य सफल हो सकता है।
