Samoon Foundation’s Devprayag team visited Rajni Devi Ji’s home on 01/10/2020 with ration supplies for the next two months. Along with providing food assistance, the team also cleared the pending grocery debt of ₹8,000/- at the local shop and assured the family of continued support whenever needed.

Rajni Devi Ji and her three children had been forced to live through extremely difficult circumstances after the sudden demise of her husband, just five years after their marriage. Due to financial hardships and lack of food supplies, there were times when the children had to sleep without proper meals.

Because of the lack of income, a debt of approximately ₹8,000/- had accumulated at the Ranakot shop for essential groceries, which was continuously increasing.

As soon as Samoon Foundation came to know about this needy family, the team visited them, understood their situation, provided ration support, and paid the entire pending amount at the shop, making the family debt-free. The family was also assured that they can contact Samoon Foundation whenever they face a shortage of ration in the future.

Rajni Devi Ji informed that due to having an APL ration card, she does not receive government ration benefits and therefore has to purchase ration from the shop for her children.

Rajni Devi Ji is a resident of Village and Post Office Ranakot, Tehri Garhwal, and she is solely responsible for the care and upbringing of her three children.

Samoon Foundation will continue its efforts to support this family and improve their living conditions, as their house is also in a very poor condition and rainwater enters during the monsoon season.

रजनी देवी जी परिवार सहायता अभियान

समूण फाउंडेशन की देवप्रयाग टीम आज दिनांक 01/10/2020 को रजनी देवी जी के घर अगले दो महीने का राशन लेकर पहुंची। साथ ही टीम द्वारा दुकान पर बकाया ₹8,000/- की पूरी राशि का भुगतान किया गया और भविष्य में भी हर संभव सहायता का आश्वासन दिया गया।

आपको बता दें कि शादी के मात्र 5 वर्ष बाद रजनी देवी जी के पति की आकस्मिक मृत्यु हो गई थी। इसके बाद रजनी देवी जी और उनके तीन बच्चे अत्यंत कठिन परिस्थितियों में जीवन यापन करने को मजबूर थे।

घर में राशन की कमी के कारण कई बार बच्चों को भूखा भी सोना पड़ता था। आर्थिक स्थिति खराब होने के कारण रणाकोट की दुकान पर आवश्यक राशन का लगभग ₹8,000/- का उधार हो गया था, जो लगातार बढ़ता जा रहा था।

समूण फाउंडेशन को जब इस गरीब परिवार की स्थिति के बारे में जानकारी मिली तो संस्था की टीम परिवार से मिली, उनकी स्थिति को समझा, राशन उपलब्ध कराया और दुकान का पूरा बकाया भुगतान कर परिवार को कर्ज मुक्त किया। साथ ही परिवार को आश्वासन दिया गया कि भविष्य में भी राशन की आवश्यकता होने पर वे समूण फाउंडेशन से संपर्क कर सकते हैं।

रजनी जी का कहना है कि उनका APL राशन कार्ड होने के कारण उन्हें सरकार से राशन नहीं मिल पाता, इसलिए उन्हें अपने बच्चों के लिए दुकान से राशन खरीदना पड़ता है।

रजनी देवी जी मूल रूप से ग्राम एवं पोस्ट ऑफिस रणाकोट, टिहरी गढ़वाल की निवासी हैं और अपने तीनों बच्चों की पूरी जिम्मेदारी अकेले निभा रही हैं।

समूण फाउंडेशन आगे भी इस परिवार के बेहतर जीवन यापन हेतु हर संभव प्रयास करता रहेगा, क्योंकि रजनी देवी जी का घर भी अत्यंत जर्जर स्थिति में है, जिसमें बरसात के समय पानी टपकता रहता है।
