Food Support for Migrants Returning to Uttarakhand During COVID-19

During the COVID-19 pandemic, a large number of people from Uttarakhand who were stranded in different states started returning to their villages. During this difficult journey, many travelers faced challenges in arranging food and other essential needs.

On the morning of 18 May, 2020, at around 5:00 AM, a group of 60 migrant brothers who had reached Rishikesh from Maharashtra contacted Samoon Foundation member Shri Narendra Maithani Ji for assistance with food arrangements.

These migrants belonged to villages including Chamiyala (Tehri), Rudraprayag, Mayali, Bajra, Khaliyan, and other areas of Uttarakhand. Understanding their immediate need, Shri Narendra Maithani Ji took prompt action and contacted Swaminarayan Ashram, Shisham Jhari, Rishikesh, to arrange meals for all the travelers.

With timely coordination and support, food arrangements were successfully made for the migrant brothers during their journey back home.

COVID-19 के दौरान उत्तराखंड लौट रहे प्रवासी भाइयों हेतु भोजन व्यवस्था सहायता

COVID-19 महामारी के दौरान बड़ी संख्या में उत्तराखंड के लोग दूसरे राज्यों से अपने गांवों की ओर लौट रहे थे। इस कठिन यात्रा के दौरान कई यात्रियों को भोजन एवं अन्य आवश्यक सुविधाओं की समस्या का सामना करना पड़ रहा था।

दिनांक 18 मई 2020 की सुबह लगभग 5 बजे महाराष्ट्र से ऋषिकेश पहुंचे 60 प्रवासी भाइयों के एक समूह ने भोजन व्यवस्था हेतु समूण फाउंडेशन के सदस्य श्री नरेंद्र मैठाणी जी से संपर्क किया।

इन प्रवासी भाइयों में टिहरी के चमियाला, रुद्रप्रयाग, मयाली, बजरा, खलियान एवं अन्य क्षेत्रों के लोग शामिल थे। उनकी तत्काल आवश्यकता को देखते हुए श्री नरेंद्र मैठाणी जी ने तुरंत कार्यवाही की और ऋषिकेश स्थित शीशम झाड़ी स्वामीनारायण आश्रम से संपर्क कर सभी के भोजन की व्यवस्था करवाई।

समय पर किए गए सहयोग और समन्वय से सभी प्रवासी भाइयों के लिए भोजन की व्यवस्था सफलतापूर्वक की गई।

COVID-19 महामारी सहायता अभियान – उत्तराखंड के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में सेवा कार्य

Food Support for Quarantined Migrant Workers During COVID-19

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Samoon Foundation continued its efforts to support people facing difficulties due to lockdown and quarantine situations.

In Village Malla Banas, Yamkeshwar Block, Pauri Garhwal, three migrant brothers who had returned from Pune, Delhi, and Chandigarh were placed under quarantine at the local school under the supervision of Gram Pradhan Shri Bachan Singh Bisht.

Due to fear and awareness regarding COVID-19, the villagers had completely stopped direct interaction with these individuals. As a result, the three quarantined persons faced difficulties in arranging essential food supplies.

Understanding their situation, Gram Pradhan Shri Bachan Singh Bisht contacted Samoon Foundation member Shri Kamal Kant Singh and requested assistance for providing food items to them.

Samoon Foundation immediately responded and arranged essential food supplies for all three quarantined individuals, ensuring that they received necessary support during their quarantine period.

Through such initiatives, Samoon Foundation continued its commitment to helping people affected by the challenges of the pandemic and promoting humanity during difficult times.

COVID-19 के दौरान क्वारंटीन प्रवासी भाइयों हेतु खाद्य सहायता अभियान

स्थान: मल्ला बनास, ब्लॉक यमकेश्वर, पौड़ी गढ़वाल, उत्तराखंड

COVID-19 महामारी के कठिन समय में समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा लगातार जरूरतमंद लोगों की सहायता के लिए विभिन्न प्रयास किए गए।

ग्राम मल्ला बनास, ब्लॉक यमकेश्वर, पौड़ी गढ़वाल में पुणे, दिल्ली और चंडीगढ़ से आए तीन प्रवासी भाइयों को ग्राम प्रधान श्री बचन सिंह बिष्ट जी की देखरेख में स्थानीय विद्यालय में क्वारंटीन किया गया था।

कोरोना बीमारी के भय के कारण गांव के लोगों ने इन व्यक्तियों से पूरी तरह दूरी बना ली थी, जिसके कारण उनके सामने आवश्यक खाद्य सामग्री की समस्या उत्पन्न हो गई थी।

स्थिति की जानकारी मिलने पर ग्राम प्रधान श्री बचन सिंह बिष्ट जी ने समूण फाउंडेशन के सदस्य श्री कमल कांत सिंह जी से संपर्क किया और इन तीनों क्वारंटीन व्यक्तियों के लिए खाद्य सामग्री उपलब्ध करवाने का निवेदन किया।

Immediate Medical Assistance Support for Little Abhishek

Samoon Foundation has always believed in providing timely support during medical emergencies so that financial difficulties do not become a reason for delay in treatment.

Following the information received about one-and-a-half-year-old Abhishek’s serious health condition, Samoon Foundation took immediate action and transferred ₹10,000 to the bank account of Abhishek’s father, Mr. Kedar Singh, as initial medical assistance.

The foundation assured the family of providing every possible support for Abhishek’s further treatment and medical needs.

Samoon Foundation team member Mr. Jot Singh Rawat in Amritsar remained in continuous contact with the affected family and personally monitored the case to ensure that the child’s health was not negatively impacted due to lack of financial resources.

समूण फाउंडेशन सदैव चिकित्सा संबंधी आपात परिस्थितियों में समय पर सहायता पहुंचाने के लिए प्रयासरत रहता है, ताकि आर्थिक कठिनाइयों के कारण किसी जरूरतमंद के इलाज में देरी न हो।

डेढ़ वर्ष के छोटे अभिषेक की गंभीर स्वास्थ्य स्थिति की जानकारी मिलने के बाद समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा तत्काल कार्यवाही करते हुए अभिषेक के पिता श्री केदार सिंह जी के बैंक खाते में प्राथमिक चिकित्सा सहायता के रूप में ₹10,000 की धनराशि ट्रांसफर कर दी गई।

साथ ही संस्था द्वारा अभिषेक के आगे के इलाज और आवश्यक चिकित्सा सहायता के लिए हर संभव सहयोग करने का आश्वासन परिवार को दिया गया।

An appeal for help to support one-and-a-half-year-old Abhishek. (डेढ़ साल के अभिषेक की मदद की गुहार)

Medical Assistance Support for Little Abhishek

Location: Amritsar, Punjab / Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand

Samoon Foundation has always been committed to supporting helpless families during difficult times, especially when financial difficulties become a barrier to receiving medical treatment.

Little Abhishek, aged one and a half years, was suffering from a serious health condition. Due to swelling throughout his body, he used to cry in pain throughout the night. His parents, being financially weak, were unaware of the exact medical condition affecting their child.

Abhishek’s father, Mr. Kedar Singh, had already borrowed ₹70,000 from friends and relatives for his son’s treatment, but his condition remained unchanged. The only information the family had was that Abhishek was suffering from a kidney-related problem.

Mr. Kedar Singh, originally from Sajwan Gaon, Post Office Kharsadi, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, was working in a hotel in Amritsar, Punjab. Due to the COVID-19 lockdown, he lost his job and was stranded there. Already burdened with previous debt, the family was struggling even to arrange basic food supplies, making further treatment for Abhishek extremely difficult.

After receiving information about Abhishek’s condition, Samoon Foundation immediately contacted the family and extended support. Doctors advised an ultrasound examination to understand the exact medical issue, but the cost of the ultrasound was ₹8,000, which the family could not afford at that time.

Samoon Foundation provided an immediate primary assistance amount of ₹10,000 to help arrange the ultrasound and begin further medical investigation. The foundation also assured the family of continued support and every possible effort for Abhishek’s treatment.

Samoon Foundation appealed to everyone to come forward and support Abhishek’s treatment, because no life should suffer due to lack of financial resources.

Every contribution, big or small, can bring hope to a family in need.

छोटे अभिषेक के इलाज हेतु चिकित्सा सहायता अभियान

स्थान: अमृतसर, पंजाब / टिहरी गढ़वाल, उत्तराखंड

समूण फाउंडेशन सदैव कठिन परिस्थितियों में फंसे जरूरतमंद परिवारों की सहायता और आर्थिक परेशानी के कारण किसी के इलाज में बाधा न आए, इस उद्देश्य से कार्य करता रहा है।

डेढ़ वर्ष के छोटे अभिषेक को शरीर में अत्यधिक सूजन की गंभीर समस्या थी, जिसके कारण वह रात भर दर्द से रोता रहता था। आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर होने के कारण उसके माता-पिता को यह भी पता नहीं था कि आखिर उनके बच्चे को कौन सी बीमारी है।

अभिषेक के पिता श्री केदार सिंह जी ने बेटे के इलाज के लिए दोस्तों और रिश्तेदारों से ₹70,000 का कर्ज लेकर उपचार करवाया, लेकिन इसके बाद भी बच्चे की स्थिति में कोई सुधार नहीं हुआ। उन्हें केवल इतना पता था कि उनके बेटे की किडनी में कोई समस्या है।

श्री केदार सिंह जी मूल रूप से ग्राम सज्वाण गांव, पोस्ट ऑफिस खरसाडी, जिला टिहरी गढ़वाल, उत्तराखंड के रहने वाले हैं और अमृतसर, पंजाब में होटल में नौकरी करते थे। COVID-19 लॉकडाउन के कारण उनकी नौकरी चली गई और वह वहीं फंस गए। पहले से कर्ज में डूबे परिवार के सामने अब खाने के राशन तक की समस्या उत्पन्न हो गई थी, ऐसे में बेटे का आगे इलाज करवाना बहुत मुश्किल हो गया था।

जब समूण फाउंडेशन को अभिषेक की स्थिति के बारे में जानकारी मिली तो संस्था ने तुरंत परिवार से संपर्क किया। डॉक्टरों ने अभिषेक का अल्ट्रासाउंड करवाने की सलाह दी, जिसकी लागत ₹8,000 थी, लेकिन परिवार उस समय यह खर्च उठाने में सक्षम नहीं था।

Samoon Foundation has always stood with people facing serious health challenges and has continuously worked to provide support during medical emergencies.

Anoop Singh Rawat Ji, who had been actively involved for the last 10 years in cultural, social, and religious programs related to Uttarakhand in Delhi, was facing a very difficult phase of life. Due to failure of both his kidneys, he was dependent on regular dialysis, which had become his only support for survival.

His medical condition had created severe financial difficulties for his family. Along with arranging funds for his treatment, his wife and two young twin daughters were also facing challenges in managing daily household expenses.

Understanding his critical situation, Samoon Foundation decided to extend immediate medical support. On 15/05/2020, the foundation initiated the process of transferring ₹15,000 as medical assistance for his treatment, as he was admitted in the hospital and required continuous care.

Later, on 24/05/2020, Samoon Foundation provided a cheque of ₹20,000 to Anoop Singh Rawat Ji for his medical treatment and assured that every possible effort would continue to support him.

Samoon Foundation and its supporters prayed for his speedy recovery and appealed to society to come forward and support Anoop Ji and his family. All contributions received were dedicated towards his treatment and medical needs.

Unfortunately, on 26/05/2020, Anoop Singh Rawat Ji passed away.

Samoon Foundation expresses heartfelt condolences to his family and prays that the departed soul rests in peace and that the family receives strength to bear this immense loss.

Just a few days before his demise, when the Samoon team provided him with financial assistance, Anoop Ji was courageously fighting against his illness. He had shared his desire that after recovering, he would also contribute towards society and humanity. However, destiny had other plans.

अनूप सिंह रावत जी के इलाज हेतु चिकित्सा सहायता अभियान एवं श्रद्धांजलि

समूण फाउंडेशन सदैव गंभीर स्वास्थ्य समस्याओं से जूझ रहे लोगों की सहायता और चिकित्सा जरूरतों में सहयोग के लिए समर्पित रहा है।

उत्तराखंड के सांस्कृतिक, सामाजिक एवं धार्मिक आयोजनों में पिछले 10 वर्षों से दिल्ली में सक्रिय रूप से भाग लेने वाले श्री अनूप सिंह रावत जी आज अत्यंत कठिन परिस्थिति से गुजर रहे थे। उनकी दोनों किडनियां खराब हो चुकी थीं और डायलिसिस ही उनके जीवन का एकमात्र सहारा बन गया था।

इस गंभीर बीमारी के कारण उनके परिवार पर आर्थिक संकट भी आ गया था। एक ओर जहां उनके इलाज के लिए धन की आवश्यकता थी, वहीं दूसरी ओर उनकी पत्नी और दो छोटी जुड़वा बेटियों के दैनिक खर्चों को चलाना भी कठिन हो गया था।

उनकी स्थिति को देखते हुए समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा तत्काल चिकित्सा सहायता प्रदान करने का निर्णय लिया गया। दिनांक 15/05/2020 को अनूप जी के इलाज हेतु ₹15,000 की सहायता राशि ट्रांसफर करने की प्रक्रिया शुरू की गई, क्योंकि वह अस्पताल में भर्ती थे और उन्हें लगातार उपचार की आवश्यकता थी।

इसके पश्चात दिनांक 24/05/2020 को समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा अनूप सिंह रावत जी को इलाज हेतु ₹20,000 की सहायता राशि का चेक प्रदान किया गया और भविष्य में भी हर संभव सहयोग का आश्वासन दिया गया।

समूण परिवार एवं सभी सहयोगियों ने अनूप जी के शीघ्र स्वास्थ्य लाभ की कामना की और समाज के लोगों से अपील की कि वे अनूप जी एवं उनके परिवार की सहायता हेतु आगे आएं। प्राप्त सहयोग राशि का उपयोग उनके बेहतर इलाज के लिए किया जाना था।

दुर्भाग्यवश दिनांक 26/05/2020 को श्री अनूप सिंह रावत जी हमारे बीच नहीं रहे।

समूण फाउंडेशन दिवंगत आत्मा को भावभीनी श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करता है और ईश्वर से प्रार्थना करता है कि प्रभु उन्हें अपने श्रीचरणों में स्थान दें तथा शोकाकुल परिवार को इस दुख को सहन करने की शक्ति प्रदान करें।

कुछ दिन पहले जब समूण टीम अनूप भाई को इलाज हेतु ₹20,000 की सहायता राशि का चेक प्रदान करने पहुंची थी, तब भी वे पूरे साहस के साथ अपनी बीमारी से लड़ रहे थे। उन्होंने कहा था कि स्वस्थ होने के बाद वे भी समाज और मानवता की सेवा के लिए कार्य करेंगे, लेकिन नियति को कुछ और ही मंजूर था।

Samoon Foundation has always been committed to supporting people facing difficult circumstances and helping them live with dignity and comfort.

Priti Badoni has been living with severe challenges after suffering a spinal cord injury, due to which both her legs stopped functioning. As a result, her daily life became extremely difficult and she was forced to depend on others for many basic needs.

To improve her living conditions, Samoon Foundation provided financial assistance for the renovation of her house along with the construction of a separate kitchen. An amount of ₹35,000 was provided through Samoon Foundation for this work.

During the process, an amount of ₹14,000 that was sent for the house renovation and kitchen construction was mistakenly transferred to another bank account due to a banking error. After necessary efforts, the amount was recovered from the incorrect account and finally transferred to Priti’s bank account.

With the support provided by Samoon Foundation, the renovation of Priti’s house and construction of the kitchen have been successfully completed, creating a safer and more comfortable living environment for her.

Samoon Foundation wishes Priti Badoni a happy, peaceful, and dignified life ahead and remains committed to serving humanity.

समूण फाउंडेशन सदैव कठिन परिस्थितियों से जूझ रहे लोगों की सहायता और उन्हें सम्मानपूर्वक जीवन जीने का अवसर प्रदान करने के लिए समर्पित रहा है।

प्रीति बडोनी बहन स्पाइनल कॉर्ड में चोट लगने के कारण लंबे समय से कठिन जीवन जीने को मजबूर हैं। इस दुर्घटना के कारण उनके दोनों पैरों ने काम करना बंद कर दिया, जिससे उनकी दैनिक जीवन की परिस्थितियां बहुत चुनौतीपूर्ण हो गईं।

प्रीति बहन के जीवन को थोड़ा सरल और बेहतर बनाने के उद्देश्य से समूण परिवार द्वारा उनके घर के जीर्णोद्धार के साथ-साथ एक रसोईघर निर्माण हेतु सहायता प्रदान की गई। इस कार्य के लिए समूण फाउंडेशन के माध्यम से कुल ₹35,000 की सहायता राशि उपलब्ध करवाई गई।

इस प्रक्रिया के दौरान घर के जीर्णोद्धार एवं रसोईघर निर्माण हेतु भेजी गई ₹14,000 की राशि बैंक की तकनीकी गलती के कारण किसी अन्य व्यक्ति के खाते में चली गई थी। आवश्यक प्रयासों के बाद वह राशि संबंधित खाते से वापस प्राप्त कर प्रीति बहन के खाते में सफलतापूर्वक ट्रांसफर कर दी गई।

समूण फाउंडेशन के सहयोग से प्रीति बहन के घर का जीर्णोद्धार एवं रसोईघर निर्माण का कार्य पूर्ण हो चुका है, जिससे उन्हें एक सुरक्षित और बेहतर रहने का वातावरण प्राप्त हुआ है।

A Facebook Live Musical Concert to Help the Poor During the COVID-19 Pandemic (COVID-19 महामारी में गरीबों की मदद करने के लिए एक फेसबुक लाइव म्यूजिकल कॉन्सर्ट )

Musical Lockdown – Facebook Live Fundraising Campaign

During the challenging period of the COVID-19 pandemic, Samoon Foundation initiated a fundraising campaign through a Facebook Live musical concert titled “Musical Lockdown” to support poor and stranded people across Uttarakhand.

The objective of this donation campaign was to raise ₹2,00,000, which would be utilized to purchase and distribute essential food supplies to people facing difficulties during the pandemic.

Due to the nationwide lockdown, thousands of migrant workers, daily wage earners, and economically weaker people were stranded in different cities of Uttarakhand. Many of them were living in temporary camps near roadsides or in remote hilly regions, where arranging daily meals had become a major challenge.

To support these families, Samoon Foundation organized a seven-day Facebook Live musical concert where seven renowned singers, along with their teams, participated and performed for 60 minutes each day. Through their melodious voices and music, the artists entertained people while encouraging them to contribute towards this humanitarian cause.

The program started from 24 April, 2020, with a new artist performing every day for seven consecutive days.

Samoon Foundation appealed to everyone to support this initiative by contributing through PayTM, Google Pay, or online bank transfer. Every contribution, big or small, helped in bringing food and hope to families affected by the pandemic.

म्यूजिकल लॉकडाउन – फेसबुक लाइव फंडरेजिंग अभियान

स्थान: उत्तराखंड

COVID-19 महामारी के कठिन समय में समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा उत्तराखंड में फंसे गरीब एवं जरूरतमंद लोगों की सहायता हेतु धनराशि एकत्रित करने के उद्देश्य से फेसबुक लाइव म्यूजिकल कॉन्सर्ट “म्यूजिकल लॉकडाउन” का आयोजन किया गया।

इस दान संग्रह अभियान का लक्ष्य ₹2,00,000 की राशि एकत्रित करना था, जिसका उपयोग जरूरतमंद लोगों के लिए खाद्य सामग्री खरीदने और वितरित करने में किया जाना था।

लॉकडाउन के कारण उत्तराखंड के विभिन्न शहरों में हजारों प्रवासी मजदूर, दैनिक वेतन भोगी कर्मचारी और आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर लोग फंस गए थे। कई लोग सड़क किनारे बने शिविरों में या दूरस्थ पहाड़ी क्षेत्रों में रहने को मजबूर थे, जहां उनके लिए प्रतिदिन भोजन की व्यवस्था करना एक बड़ी चुनौती बन गया था।

ऐसे कठिन समय में सहायता पहुंचाने के उद्देश्य से समूण फाउंडेशन ने सात दिवसीय फेसबुक लाइव म्यूजिकल कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया। इस कार्यक्रम में सात अलग-अलग प्रसिद्ध गायक अपनी टीम के साथ जुड़े और प्रतिदिन लगभग 60 मिनट तक अपनी मधुर आवाज से लोगों का मनोरंजन करते हुए इस सेवा अभियान को समर्थन दिया।

यह कार्यक्रम 24 अप्रैल 2020 से प्रारंभ हुआ, जिसमें प्रत्येक दिन एक नए कलाकार ने प्रस्तुति दी और लगातार सात दिनों तक यह अभियान संचालित हुआ।
