During the COVID-19 pandemic, a large number of people from Uttarakhand who were stranded in different states started returning to their villages. During this difficult journey, many travelers faced challenges in arranging food and other essential needs.
On the morning of 18 May, 2020, at around 5:00 AM, a group of 60 migrant brothers who had reached Rishikesh from Maharashtra contacted Samoon Foundation member Shri Narendra Maithani Ji for assistance with food arrangements.
These migrants belonged to villages including Chamiyala (Tehri), Rudraprayag, Mayali, Bajra, Khaliyan, and other areas of Uttarakhand. Understanding their immediate need, Shri Narendra Maithani Ji took prompt action and contacted Swaminarayan Ashram, Shisham Jhari, Rishikesh, to arrange meals for all the travelers.
With timely coordination and support, food arrangements were successfully made for the migrant brothers during their journey back home.

COVID-19 महामारी के दौरान बड़ी संख्या में उत्तराखंड के लोग दूसरे राज्यों से अपने गांवों की ओर लौट रहे थे। इस कठिन यात्रा के दौरान कई यात्रियों को भोजन एवं अन्य आवश्यक सुविधाओं की समस्या का सामना करना पड़ रहा था।
दिनांक 18 मई 2020 की सुबह लगभग 5 बजे महाराष्ट्र से ऋषिकेश पहुंचे 60 प्रवासी भाइयों के एक समूह ने भोजन व्यवस्था हेतु समूण फाउंडेशन के सदस्य श्री नरेंद्र मैठाणी जी से संपर्क किया।
इन प्रवासी भाइयों में टिहरी के चमियाला, रुद्रप्रयाग, मयाली, बजरा, खलियान एवं अन्य क्षेत्रों के लोग शामिल थे। उनकी तत्काल आवश्यकता को देखते हुए श्री नरेंद्र मैठाणी जी ने तुरंत कार्यवाही की और ऋषिकेश स्थित शीशम झाड़ी स्वामीनारायण आश्रम से संपर्क कर सभी के भोजन की व्यवस्था करवाई।
समय पर किए गए सहयोग और समन्वय से सभी प्रवासी भाइयों के लिए भोजन की व्यवस्था सफलतापूर्वक की गई।
समूण फाउंडेशन कठिन परिस्थितियों में जरूरतमंद लोगों की सहायता और मानव सेवा के लिए निरंतर प्रयासरत है।
