During the COVID-19 pandemic, many migrant workers and their families were stranded in different parts of Uttarakhand, facing severe challenges due to loss of employment and lack of basic necessities.
On 23 May, 2020, Samoon Foundation extended support in Devprayag, Uttarakhand, by providing essential food supplies to stranded migrant workers and their families. These families were struggling as they had no source of income, no means to return to their home states, and insufficient funds to purchase ration.
Understanding their difficult situation, Samoon Foundation ensured that necessary food items reached them, helping them sustain through this challenging time.

COVID-19 महामारी के दौरान दूसरे राज्यों से आए कई मजदूर एवं उनके परिवार उत्तराखंड के विभिन्न स्थानों पर फंसे हुए थे, जहां उन्हें रोजगार, भोजन एवं अन्य आवश्यक संसाधनों की भारी कमी का सामना करना पड़ रहा था।
दिनांक 23 मई 2020 को समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा देवप्रयाग, उत्तराखंड में फंसे हुए जरूरतमंद मजदूरों एवं उनके परिवारों को खाद्य सामग्री प्रदान की गई। ये सभी परिवार अत्यंत कठिन परिस्थितियों में जीवन यापन कर रहे थे, जिनके पास न तो कोई रोजगार था, न ही अपने घर वापस जाने के लिए किराया, और न ही राशन खरीदने के लिए पर्याप्त धनराशि।
समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा इस कठिन समय में इन परिवारों तक आवश्यक सहायता पहुंचाई गई, जिससे उन्हें राहत मिल सके।
