Donation Support for Computer Training Center & Samoon Foundation

Samoon Foundation received a generous donation of ₹78,500/- from respected social worker and entrepreneur Shri Bachan Singh Rawat Ji on the occasion of his birthday. The Samoon family extends heartfelt wishes and gratitude to him for his valuable contribution towards society and education.
In today’s fast-paced life, everyone works hard to fulfill the needs of their family and live a happy and peaceful life. While it is our first responsibility to take care of our own family, we must also remember that being a part of this world comes with a responsibility towards others. The happiness and satisfaction received from serving society selflessly is beyond words.
Everyone lives for themselves, but experiencing life by living for others brings immense joy and peace to the soul. This is the belief of our respected Samoon family member, Shri Bachan Singh Rawat Ji.
Shri Bachan Singh Rawat Ji is a native of village Dhunga, Akhori, Gyarah Gaon Hindao, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. After completing his primary and higher education in Mumbai and Andhra Pradesh, he is currently running his business in Andhra Pradesh. Despite living away from the mountains, his heart always remains connected to Uttarakhand.
Shri Rawat Ji believes that “The darkness of poverty can be removed through the light of education.” According to him, if society wants to overcome poverty, education must be given the highest priority. Education is the foundation of social development and self-reliance. Children are the future of our nation, and providing them with quality education is one of the greatest contributions we can make. Educating one child from a poor family helps in making an entire family self-dependent.
For the establishment of the Computer Training Centre and Samoon Foundation office at Akhori, Tehri Garhwal, in memory of Uttarakhand’s Gandhi, Late Shri Indramani Badoni Ji, Shri Bachan Singh Rawat Ji donated ₹78,500/- for five computers and one inverter. He has also confirmed his support for bearing the monthly rent expenses of the centre for the next one year.
Earlier, in the previous month, Shri Rawat Ji had contributed ₹10,000/- towards the lifetime membership of the Samoon family.
During the difficult period of the COVID-19 pandemic, despite his entire family being affected by coronavirus, Shri Rawat Ji contributed ₹2,81,000/- to the District Magistrate Relief Fund for providing food supplies to remote villages of Uttarakhand. Along with this, he personally connected with social workers and helped deliver ration supplies at various places.
Although Shri Rawat Ji does not wish to receive publicity for his social contributions, we are sharing this message against his wishes so that more people can get inspired by such a noble personality and follow the path of social service.
It is a matter of pride for the entire Samoon family to have a dedicated social personality like Shri Bachan Singh Rawat Ji associated with us. We strongly believe that with his guidance and support, Samoon Foundation will continue to work effectively in the field of education and social development in Uttarakhand.

उत्तराखंड के अमूल्य रत्न, समाजसेवी एवं उद्योगपति आदरणीय श्री बचन सिंह रावत जी को जन्मदिन की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ। इस शुभ अवसर पर समूण फाउंडेशन को आपकी ओर से ₹78,500/- की दानराशि प्राप्त हुई। समाज और शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में आपके इस अमूल्य सहयोग के लिए समूण परिवार आपका हृदय से आभार व्यक्त करता है।
आज की भागदौड़ भरी जिंदगी में हर व्यक्ति अपने और अपने परिवार की आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करने के लिए कठिन परिश्रम करता है ताकि वह अपने परिवार के साथ सुखी एवं खुशहाल जीवन व्यतीत कर सके। यह आवश्यक है कि हम सबसे पहले अपने परिवार की जिम्मेदारियों को निभाएं, लेकिन साथ ही यह भी याद रखना चाहिए कि यदि हम इस धरती पर आए हैं तो अपने परिवार के साथ-साथ दूसरों की खुशियों के बारे में भी सोचना हमारा कर्तव्य है। दूसरों के लिए सेवा भाव से किया गया कार्य हमें जो आत्मिक संतुष्टि देता है, वह जीवन को और अधिक आनंदमय बना देता है।
अपने लिए तो सभी जीते हैं, लेकिन कभी दूसरों के लिए जीकर देखना चाहिए कि आत्मा को कितनी प्रसन्नता मिलती है। यही विचार समूण परिवार के सम्मानित सदस्य श्री बचन सिंह रावत जी का है।
श्री बचन सिंह रावत जी ग्राम ढुंगा, अखोड़ी, ग्यारह गांव हिंदो, टिहरी गढ़वाल, उत्तराखंड के मूल निवासी हैं। उन्होंने अपनी प्रारंभिक एवं उच्च शिक्षा मुंबई तथा आंध्र प्रदेश से प्राप्त की और वर्तमान में आंध्र प्रदेश में अपना व्यवसाय संचालित कर रहे हैं। पहाड़ से दूर रहकर भी उनका हृदय हमेशा उत्तराखंड के लिए समर्पित रहता है।
रावत जी का मानना है कि “शिक्षा की रोशनी से मिटेगा गरीबी का अंधेरा।” उनका विश्वास है कि यदि समाज से गरीबी को समाप्त करना है तो शिक्षा पर विशेष ध्यान देना होगा। शिक्षा ही समाज के विकास और आत्मनिर्भरता का आधार है। बच्चे हमारे देश का भविष्य हैं, इसलिए उनकी बेहतर शिक्षा के लिए हर संभव प्रयास करना चाहिए। यदि हम किसी गरीब परिवार के एक बच्चे को अच्छी शिक्षा प्रदान करते हैं तो हम पूरे परिवार को आत्मनिर्भर बनने में सहयोग करते हैं।
उत्तराखंड के गांधी स्वर्गीय श्री इंद्रमणि बडोनी जी की स्मृति में अखोड़ी, टिहरी गढ़वाल में समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा प्रारंभ किए जा रहे कंप्यूटर प्रशिक्षण केंद्र एवं कार्यालय के लिए आदरणीय बचन सिंह रावत जी के माध्यम से ₹78,500/- की दानराशि प्राप्त हुई। इस राशि से पांच कंप्यूटर एवं एक इनवर्टर की व्यवस्था की जाएगी। साथ ही उन्होंने अगले एक वर्ष तक इस केंद्र के मासिक किराए का भुगतान करने की भी सहमति प्रदान की है।
इससे पूर्व पिछले माह ही रावत जी द्वारा समूण परिवार की लाइफटाइम सदस्यता शुल्क के रूप में ₹10,000/- की दानराशि प्रदान की गई थी।
कोरोना महामारी के कठिन समय में जब पूरा परिवार कोरोना पॉजिटिव होने के बावजूद, रावत जी ने उत्तराखंड के दूरस्थ गांवों तक खाद्य सामग्री पहुंचाने के उद्देश्य से माननीय जिलाधिकारी राहत कोष में ₹2,81,000/- की दानराशि भेजी। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ जुड़कर अपने स्तर से विभिन्न स्थानों पर राशन वितरण में भी सहयोग किया।
रावत जी भले ही नहीं चाहते कि उनके सामाजिक कार्यों का प्रचार-प्रसार किया जाए, लेकिन ऐसे महान सामाजिक व्यक्तित्व से प्रेरणा लेने के लिए हम उनकी इच्छा के विपरीत यह पोस्ट साझा कर रहे हैं। आप जैसे महान समाजसेवी का समूण परिवार के साथ जुड़ना हम सभी के लिए गर्व की बात है।
