Life was the sum of all the actions and activities a person did from birth to death. The actions a person did were life. It was through actions that one built and ruined one's life. The life a person lived was exactly like the actions they did.

As much as possible, one should invest in the assets of life because what one earned was what one could take along. Everything else was just a show that would be left behind one day. With this thought, today Samoon wanted to tell you about a personality who lived for others.

*Mrs. Naina Negi Ji, M.T.* lived in *Kot Gairsain, Gair Hindi, District Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand* and worked as a teacher in a school in Mumbai. As a teacher, Naina Ji worked very hard to provide good education to her students. Today, because of her hard work, many children who studied under her had reached good positions and were progressing.

Along with her duties, Naina Ji also took extra time after school to teach children. She also provided free books and pens to needy children. If Naina Ji wanted, she could have lived a luxurious life with this money, but she used this money for the education and social work of poor children in Uttarakhand.

Naina Ji's salary was such that after paying for electricity bills, water bills, house rent, credit card and other bills every month, there was nothing left. So if a donation receipt was added to all these expenses, it would be like adding salt to a wound.

The scope of this message was that the great personality, Mrs. Naina Ji, was associated with Samoon. Every month she donated *Rs. 11,000* for the education of poor children through Samoon. Along with this, she was also providing free tuition to other needy children at her home.

Your joining was for this purpose and Samoon had full faith that under your guidance and direction, Samoon would be successful in working for the better education of poor and needy children as per your wishes.

जीवन हमारे द्वारा किया गया वह कर्म था जिसके अंदर जन्म से लेकर मरण तक की समस्त क्रियाकलाप और गतिविधियां समाहित थीं। दूसरा शब्दों में हम यह कह सकते थे कि कर्म ही जीवन था अर्थात कर्म से ही हम अपने जीवन को बनाते और बिगाड़ते थे। जैसा आपका कर्म होगा वैसा ही आपका जीवन होगा।

जितना हो सके अपने जीवन को सम्पत्तियों में लगाओ क्योंकि यही वह धन था जो आप अपने साथ ले जा सकते थे बाकी तो सब मोह माया थी जो यहीं छूट जाना था। इसी विचारधारा के साथ आज हम आपको एक ऐसे शख्सियत के बारे में बता रहे थे जो दूसरों के लिए अपना मेहनत की कमाई का बहुत बड़ा हिस्सा दान करने में विश्वास रखते थे। *रमेश इंडियन नेत्यानी जी मूलतः: गांव कोट गयारह गैर हिंदी, जिला रुद्रप्रयाग, उत्तराखंड* के रहने वाले थे और मुंबई में एक शिक्षक के रूप में कार्यरत थे। एक शिक्षक के रूप में नैनानी गुरूजी अपने विद्यार्थियों को अच्छी शिक्षा देने के लिए दिन रात मेहनत करते थे परिणामस्वरूप नैनानी जी द्वारा पढ़ाए बच्चे अच्छे पदों में जॉब लेकर आज कामयाबी के शिखर पर पहुंचे हुए थे और पहुंच रहे थे।

बच्चे अच्छे बनें और उज्ज्वल हों इसलिए नेत्यानी गुरूजी इन बच्चों को स्कूल समय के बाद घर पर अतिरिक्त समय देकर पढ़ाते थे और बच्चे गरीबी की वजह से शिक्षा के नाम पर जो सोचा था वो सोचते थे शुरू देते थे वह नेत्यानी गुरूजी दान कर देते थे। यदि नेत्यानी गुरूजी चाहते तो वह इन पैसों से मौज-शाम की जिंदगी जी सकते थे लेकिन नेत्यानी गुरूजी इन पैसों को उत्तराखंड में गरीब बच्चों की शिक्षा एवं सामाजिक कार्यों में लगाते थे।

नेत्यानी गुरूजी का मानना था कि हर महीने के अंत में हमें वेतन मिलता था बिजली का बिल, पानी का बिल, कमरे का किराया, क्रेडिट कार्ड का बिल, ग्रोसरी आदि के बिल भर देना पड़ता था तो कुछ भी उसमें एक और बिल धर्मपरिवर्तित का बिल जोड़ जाए क्योंकि आवश्यकता से ज्यादा धन संचय मनुष्यद्वारा द्वारा संचित धन नष्ट हो जाता था।

यह हमारा सौभाग्य था कि ऐसे महान शख्सियत नेत्यानी जी हमारी संस्था समून परिवार से जुड़े थे और हर महीने *11,000 हजार रुपये* की धनराशि गरीब एवं पिंजरे परिवार के बच्चों की शिक्षा हेतु दान स्वरूप देते थे न कि निस्वार्थ निर्णय था। इसके साथ ही नैनानी जी दूसरी नेहियों में भी बहुत ही धनराशि दानस्वरूप प्रदान कर रहे थे।

You said that roads were being built in the country at the fastest pace. But the villagers of *Osla, the last village of Uttarkashi district, Uttarakhand* asked, when would it be the turn of their village?

The situation was that when someone in the village fell ill, they had to walk several miles to reach the nearest hospital. Patients were carried on cots, tied with ropes and bamboo sticks on shoulders. But very few were so lucky to get treatment on time.

It was hoped that this video would reach you and that basic facilities like electricity, roads and a small primary health center would be made available in this village as well.

आपका कहना था कि देश में सबसे तेज गति से सड़कों का निर्माण हो रहा है लेकिन उत्तराखंड के उत्तरकाशी जिले के सबसे अंतिम गांव *ओसला* के ग्रामीणों का कहना था कि हमारे गांव का नंबर कब आएगा?

महोदय स्थिति यह थी कि जब गांव में कोई बीमार हो जाता था तो उसे नजदीकी हॉस्पिटल तक ले जाने के लिए इस तरह से मीलों पैदल चलकर डोली में बांसों के सहारे बांधकर कंधों में ले जाया जाता था लेकिन बहुत कम ऐसे खुशनसीब होते थे जिन्हें समय पर उपचार मिल पाता था।

आशा करते थे कि यह वीडियो आप तक पहुंचे और इस गांव में भी बिजली, सड़क और प्राथमिक उपचार के लिए एक छोटा सा चिकित्सालय जैसी बुनियादी सुविधाएं उपलब्ध हों।

Samoon Family’s Sewing Training Center in Turangi, Devprayag (तुड़ंगी देवप्रयाग मे समूण परिवार का सिलाई प्रशिक्षण केंद्र )

Sewing Training Centre Restarted for Women Empowerment

Location: Roomdhar, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand

After successfully completing a six-month sewing training course for rural women and girls in Tudangi, Devprayag, the sewing training activities were temporarily stopped due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On 1 December, 2020, the sewing training centre was officially shifted to Roomdhar, Tehri Garhwal, and the training program has been restarted.

From today, sewing and knitting training activities have resumed at this centre, and on the very first day, more than 25 girls and women enrolled for sewing and knitting training.

Samoon Foundation hopes that through this centre, a larger number of rural women and girls will benefit, learn valuable skills, and move towards self-reliance.

महिला सशक्तिकरण हेतु सिलाई प्रशिक्षण केंद्र का पुनः शुभारंभ
दिनांक: 2 दिसम्बर, 2020
स्थान: रूमधार, टिहरी गढ़वाल, उत्तराखंड

तुड़ंगी, देवप्रयाग में ग्रामीण महिलाओं एवं बालिकाओं के लिए 6 महीने तक संचालित सिलाई प्रशिक्षण कोर्स पूरा होने के बाद कोरोना महामारी के कारण सिलाई प्रशिक्षण का कार्य बंद हो गया था।

आज दिनांक 1 दिसम्बर, 2020 को इस सिलाई प्रशिक्षण केंद्र को रूमधार, टिहरी गढ़वाल में स्थानांतरित करते हुए विधिवत रूप से पुनः प्रारंभ किया गया।

आज से यहां सिलाई एवं बुनाई प्रशिक्षण का कार्य शुरू हो गया है। प्रशिक्षण केंद्र के पहले ही दिन 25 से अधिक बालिकाओं एवं महिलाओं ने सिलाई एवं बुनाई प्रशिक्षण हेतु अपना नामांकन करवाया है।

समूण फाउंडेशन को आशा है कि इस केंद्र के माध्यम से अधिक से अधिक ग्रामीण महिलाएं एवं बालिकाएं लाभान्वित होंगी और कौशल प्राप्त कर आत्मनिर्भर बनने की दिशा में आगे बढ़ेंगी।

Samoon Foundation received a donation of ₹10,000/- through respected senior member Shri Vijay Mohan Painyuli Ji and his family for furniture arrangements at the under-construction Samoon Foundation Office and Computer Training Centre in Akhori, Tehri Garhwal.

This office and computer training centre is being established with the valuable support and contribution of Shri Vijay Mohan Painyuli Ji and Shri Bachan Singh Rawat Ji. Their dedication and support have played an important role in making this initiative possible.

Although Shri Vijay Mohan Painyuli Ji joined Samoon Foundation only six months ago, his dedication towards humanitarian service and social welfare has been truly inspiring. Due to his commitment and leadership qualities, he is currently one of the key decision-making members of the Samoon Foundation executive team.

Under his guidance and efforts, Samoon Foundation has been able to collect donations of more than ₹7,00,000/- for needy people during the last six months. Out of this, Shri Painyuli Ji himself has contributed and arranged approximately ₹1,00,000/- towards the welfare of underprivileged people.

Shri Vijay Mohan Painyuli Ji is currently working with THDC India Limited, Pipalkoti and is originally from village Kailbaghi, Peepaldali, Tehri Garhwal. Due to the Tehri Dam project, his native village came under the submergence area, and he currently resides in Dehradun.

आपके कुशल नेतृत्व एवं प्रयासों से पिछले 6 महीनों में समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा जरूरतमंदों के हितार्थ लगभग ₹7,00,000/- (सात लाख रुपये) से अधिक की दानराशि एकत्रित की जा चुकी है, जिसमें स्वयं पैन्यूली जी के माध्यम से लगभग ₹1,00,000/- (एक लाख रुपये) की दानराशि जरूरतमंदों की सहायता हेतु प्राप्त हुई है।

श्री विजय मोहन पैन्यूली जी वर्तमान में टीएचडीसी इंडिया लिमिटेड, पीपलकोटी में कार्यरत हैं और मूल रूप से ग्राम कैलबागी, पीपलडाली, टिहरी गढ़वाल के निवासी हैं। टिहरी बांध के कारण उनका मूल गांव डूब क्षेत्र में आने के बाद वर्तमान में वे देहरादून में निवास कर रहे हैं।

When Women Become Self-Reliant, Society Will Develop (महिलाएं बनेंगी आत्मनिर्भर तो विकसित होगा समाज)

Women Empowerment Through Skill Development Initiative
Location: Uttarakhand

“When women become self-reliant, society moves towards development.”

With the objective of empowering women and helping them become financially independent, Samoon Foundation is going to start another Sewing Training Centre.

Through this centre, women from the village will be provided sewing training so that after learning this skill, they can become self-dependent and create better livelihood opportunities for themselves.

A meeting was conducted with village women regarding this initiative, where it was decided that the centre will initially be started with 5 sewing machines. If more women and girls from the village show interest in learning sewing, Samoon Foundation will increase the number of machines and will also make efforts to provide training in embroidery work.

Samoon Foundation hopes that such initiatives will benefit village women, help them gain skills, and encourage them towards self-reliance.

महिलाएं बनेंगी आत्मनिर्भर तो विकसित होगा समाज

महिलाओं को आत्मनिर्भर बनाने के उद्देश्य से समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा एक और सिलाई प्रशिक्षण केंद्र प्रारंभ करने का निर्णय लिया गया है।

इस केंद्र के माध्यम से गांव की महिलाओं एवं बालिकाओं को सिलाई का प्रशिक्षण दिया जाएगा, जिससे वे यह हुनर सीखकर आत्मनिर्भर बन सकें और अपने जीवन यापन के लिए नए अवसर प्राप्त कर सकें।

इस संबंध में ग्रामीण महिलाओं के साथ एक बैठक आयोजित की गई, जिसमें निर्णय लिया गया कि प्रारंभिक चरण में इस केंद्र की शुरुआत 5 सिलाई मशीनों के साथ की जाएगी।

यदि गांव की अधिक महिलाएं एवं बालिकाएं यहां सिलाई सीखने के लिए आती हैं तो समूण परिवार द्वारा सिलाई मशीनों की संख्या बढ़ाने के साथ-साथ कढ़ाई का प्रशिक्षण देने का भी प्रयास किया जाएगा।

समूण फाउंडेशन को आशा है कि इस प्रकार के प्रयासों से गांव की महिलाएं लाभान्वित होंगी और आत्मनिर्भर बनने की दिशा में आगे बढ़ेंगी।
