Samoon Foundation Provided Support to 80-Year-Old Grandmother Caring for Three Orphaned Children

On 24th November 2021, Samoon Foundation team visited Gram Dhararkot, Jakhholi, Rudraprayag to support 80-year-old Mrs. Vardei Devi Ji, who had taken responsibility for raising and educating three orphaned children.
On 24th October 2021, Samoon Foundation had received a request letter from Mrs. Vardei Devi Ji, in which she shared her difficult situation and requested help for the upbringing and education of her grandchildren:
Varsha – 10 years
Ruchi – 8 years
Sahil – 5 years
Mrs. Vardei Devi Ji shared that her two sons, Vijaypal Singh Ji and Jayendra Singh Ji, had passed away. Later, the wife of Vijaypal Singh Ji, Mrs. Anita Devi Ji, also passed away on 11th October 2021, leaving the responsibility of these three children entirely on the shoulders of their 80-year-old grandmother.
Due to her old age and lack of any regular source of income, taking care of the children’s education and daily needs had become extremely difficult.
On 9th November 2021, Samoon Foundation started an appeal through social media and among its members to support this family. After receiving support from well-wishers, the Samoon Foundation team visited the family on 24th November 2021 and provided a financial assistance cheque of ₹11,000/-.

जरूरतमंद एवं कठिन परिस्थितियों से गुजर रहे परिवारों के साथ खड़ा होना समूण फाउंडेशन का सदैव प्रयास रहा है।
दिनांक 24/11/2021 को समूण फाउंडेशन की टीम ग्राम धाररकोट, जखोली, रुद्रप्रयाग पहुंची और 80 वर्षीय वृद्ध माता जी वरदेई देवी जी को सहायता प्रदान की।
इससे पूर्व दिनांक 24/10/2021 को वरदेई देवी जी के माध्यम से समूण फाउंडेशन को एक प्रार्थना पत्र प्राप्त हुआ था, जिसमें उन्होंने अपने जीवन की कठिन परिस्थितियों को बताते हुए अपने अनाथ बच्चों के पालन-पोषण एवं शिक्षा को सुचारू रूप से चलाने हेतु सहायता का निवेदन किया था।
वरदेई देवी जी ने बताया कि उनके दो पुत्र:
विजयपाल सिंह जी
जयेंद्र सिंह जी
अब इस दुनिया में नहीं रहे। इसके बाद विजयपाल सिंह जी की पत्नी अनीता देवी जी का भी दिनांक 11/10/2021 को निधन हो गया।
इन परिस्थितियों में:
कु. वर्षा (10 वर्ष)
कु. रुचि (8 वर्ष)
साहिल (5 वर्ष)
इन तीनों अनाथ बच्चों के पालन-पोषण और शिक्षा की पूरी जिम्मेदारी 80 वर्षीय वरदेई देवी जी के कंधों पर आ गई थी।
वृद्धावस्था और आय का कोई साधन न होने के कारण बच्चों की देखभाल करना उनके लिए अत्यंत कठिन हो रहा था।
परिवार की स्थिति को देखते हुए दिनांक 09/11/2021 को समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा सोशल मीडिया एवं अपने सदस्यों के माध्यम से सहायता अभियान प्रारंभ किया गया।
इसके बाद दिनांक 24/11/2021 को समूण फाउंडेशन की टीम परिवार के दुख-दर्द में सहभागी बनने उनके गांव पहुंची और ₹11,000/- की सहायता राशि का चेक प्रदान किया।
समूण फाउंडेशन इन बच्चों की शिक्षा एवं बेहतर भविष्य के लिए आगे भी हर संभव सहयोग हेतु प्रयासरत रहेगा।
