Donation Support Received from UCWA for Diwali Happiness Initiative

India is a land of festivals, and every festival carries its own cultural, spiritual, and social significance. Among these festivals, Diwali and Holi hold a special place as celebrations of happiness, togetherness, and joy with deep historical, cultural, and traditional importance.
Wherever we live in the world, staying connected with our roots and culture always remains important. Following this thought, the Uttarakhand community living in Australia celebrated Diwali with great enthusiasm under the banner of Uttarakhand Community of Western Australia (UCWA). Women and children participated in colourful cultural programs and made the celebration memorable.
It is said that happiness increases when it is shared. With this spirit, UCWA contributed ₹11,000/- to Samoon Foundation to help deliver Diwali sweets, clothes, and crackers to needy families in Uttarakhand.
Earlier, on 5 October, UCWA had also organized a Uttarakhand Food Festival, during which Samoon Foundation received another donation of ₹11,000/- from UCWA.
Samoon Foundation expresses heartfelt gratitude to the entire UCWA family and its President Shri Sudarshan Panwar Ji for their valuable contribution and support towards this noble initiative.

भारतवर्ष त्योहारों का देश है और प्रत्येक त्योहार का अपना सांस्कृतिक, आध्यात्मिक एवं सामाजिक महत्व होता है। इन त्योहारों में दीपावली और होली ऐसे पर्व हैं, जो पौराणिक, ऐतिहासिक एवं सांस्कृतिक महत्व के साथ-साथ खुशियों और आपसी प्रेम के प्रतीक भी हैं।
हम दुनिया के किसी भी कोने में रहें, लेकिन अपनी जड़ों और संस्कृति से जुड़े रहना हमारी पहचान होती है। इसी विचारधारा के साथ ऑस्ट्रेलिया में रहने वाले उत्तराखंडी समाज के लोगों ने "उत्तराखंड कम्युनिटी ऑफ वेस्टर्न ऑस्ट्रेलिया (UCWA)" के बैनर तले दीपावली का उत्सव बड़े धूमधाम से मनाया। इस अवसर पर महिलाओं एवं बच्चों द्वारा रंगारंग सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत किए गए।
कहा जाता है कि खुशियां बांटने से बढ़ती हैं। इसी भावना के साथ उत्तराखंड के जरूरतमंद परिवारों तक दीपावली की मिठाई, कपड़े एवं पटाखे पहुंचाने के उद्देश्य से UCWA द्वारा समूण फाउंडेशन को ₹11,000/- की दानराशि प्रदान की गई।
इससे पूर्व 5 अक्टूबर को UCWA द्वारा उत्तराखंडी फूड फेस्टिवल का आयोजन भी किया गया था, जिसमें समूण फाउंडेशन को UCWA के माध्यम से ₹11,000/- की दानराशि प्राप्त हुई थी।
इस नेक कार्य हेतु समूण फाउंडेशन की ओर से UCWA परिवार एवं अध्यक्ष सुदर्शन पंवार जी का हार्दिक आभार एवं धन्यवाद।
