During the COVID-19 pandemic, several reports highlighted the difficult conditions faced by migrant workers staying at Bharat Mandir School, Rishikesh, where even basic facilities such as drinking water were not adequately available.
Taking immediate cognizance of the situation, Samoon Foundation arranged refreshments for 45 migrant workers from Uttarakhand who were staying at the facility.
Since 29 March 2020, Samoon Foundation has been continuously working across various regions of Uttarakhand, providing refreshments, food, and essential supplies on a large scale to those in need. This includes support for poor and needy families, travelers, differently abled individuals, saints, elderly people in remote villages, and migrant workers stranded from other states.

इस स्थिति को देखते हुए समूण फाउंडेशन की टीम ने तत्काल संज्ञान लेते हुए वहां ठहरे 45 प्रवासी उत्तराखंडी भाइयों के लिए जलपान की व्यवस्था की।
समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा 29 मार्च 2020 से निरंतर उत्तराखंड के विभिन्न स्थानों पर जरूरतमंद लोगों, राहगीरों, दिव्यांगजनों, साधु-संतों, दूरस्थ पहाड़ी गांवों में रह रहे बुजुर्गों तथा दूसरे राज्यों से फंसे हुए मजदूरों के लिए जलपान, भोजन एवं खाद्य सामग्री वितरण कार्यक्रम व्यापक स्तर पर चलाया जा रहा है।
