Faith and hope are two powerful words that give human beings the strength to face even the biggest challenges of life. Samoon Foundation has always been committed to fulfilling this faith and becoming a ray of hope for those in need. It is not just an organization but a family that strives to support people across Uttarakhand during difficult times.

With this hope, Asha Arya, a resident of Village Airode, Post Office Pantkotli, Tehsil Ranikhet, District Almora, Uttarakhand, currently working in Gurugram, approached the Samoon family seeking help for her mother’s treatment.

Asha Ji shared that the last two years brought many hardships into her life. During this difficult period, she lost her father, and her mother, Smt. Govindi Devi Ji, was diagnosed with liver cancer. Despite facing these challenges, Asha Ji is working a small job in Gurugram and taking responsibility for her mother’s treatment along with the care and upbringing of her two younger siblings.

Her mother’s treatment was earlier being carried out at Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi, under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. However, due to the lockdown situation, regular treatment at Safdarjung Hospital was not possible, and she was forced to continue treatment at Narayana Hospital, Gurugram, which created additional financial difficulties.

Samoon Foundation appealed to all donors and kind-hearted individuals to extend their support towards Asha Arya Ji and her mother’s treatment. Even a small contribution can become a great source of hope and support for the family during this challenging time.

विश्वास और उम्मीद दो ऐसे शब्द हैं जिनके सहारे इंसान बड़ी से बड़ी मुश्किलों का सामना कर सकता है। समूण फाउंडेशन हमेशा से ही इसी विश्वास और उम्मीद को पूरा करने के लिए जरूरतमंद लोगों के साथ खड़ा रहा है। यह केवल एक फाउंडेशन नहीं बल्कि एक परिवार है, जो उत्तराखंड के लोगों के लिए आशा की एक किरण बनने का प्रयास करता है।

इसी उम्मीद के साथ ग्राम एरोडे, पोस्ट ऑफिस पंतकोटली, तहसील रानीखेत, जिला अल्मोड़ा निवासी बालिका आशा आर्य जी, जो वर्तमान में गुरुग्राम में छोटी सी नौकरी कर रही हैं, ने अपनी माता जी के इलाज हेतु समूण परिवार से सहायता की अपील की।

आशा जी बताती हैं कि पिछले दो वर्षों में उनके जीवन में दुखों का ऐसा दौर आया कि उन्हें अपनी माता जी के इलाज के लिए समूण परिवार से मदद मांगनी पड़ी। इन वर्षों में उनके पिता जी का निधन हो गया और उनकी माता श्रीमती गोविंदी देवी जी लीवर कैंसर जैसी गंभीर बीमारी से पीड़ित हो गईं।

वर्तमान में आशा जी गुरुग्राम में छोटी सी नौकरी करके अपनी माता जी के इलाज और अपने दो छोटे भाई-बहनों की जिम्मेदारी उठा रही हैं। उनकी माता जी का इलाज पहले दिल्ली के सफदरजंग अस्पताल में आयुष्मान भारत योजना के अंतर्गत चल रहा था, लेकिन लॉकडाउन की स्थिति के कारण वहां नियमित इलाज संभव नहीं हो पा रहा था। मजबूरी में उन्हें गुरुग्राम के नारायणा हॉस्पिटल से इलाज करवाना पड़ रहा है, जिससे आर्थिक परेशानी और बढ़ गई है।

समूण फाउंडेशन की ओर से सभी दानदाताओं एवं मानवता प्रेमियों से अपील की गई कि वे आशा आर्य जी की माता जी के इलाज में यथासंभव सहयोग करें। आपका छोटा सा सहयोग भी इस कठिन समय में एक परिवार के लिए बड़ी उम्मीद बन सकता है।
