The easiest way to get out of any financial crisis is *#Loan*, but when you haven't paid off the loan, the loan itself makes life that difficult.

This is the story of *Sumitra Devi*. A widow and mother of daughters, she did labor work on daily wages to make a living. She had taken a bank loan for her elder daughter's wedding and was repaying it with great difficulty. But COVID left her unemployed. Now, with only ₹17,000 left to repay, she had completely paid off the loan through honesty. In 3 years she repaid the bank loan with integrity. And now, just when the loan was about to end, she was on the verge of default. 

After the bank refused to give her another loan for her other daughter's wedding, and thinking about the bank's recovery action, she was so stressed that she didn't even know what to do. First, due to poverty she lived a miserable life, and now the fear of bank recovery. Being from an SC/ST community and living in a remote village, she had no support. No one looked at her condition and helped, nor did she get any government assistance anywhere. But it is said that if your intention is good, some path will definitely open. Somehow she came to know about *#SamoonFoundation*, and when we learned about it, her condition made us cry. 

Even in such a miserable condition, Mrs. Sumitra Ji did not ask us for anything for herself. She just requested us to give her a loan. She said that she had gone through so much to repay this loan that she could not bear to take another loan now. If possible, pay this loan for her. Seeing her helplessness, we all the donors decided to help her.

With your help, we repaid her *loan balance of ₹17,000/-* to the bank. After paying off the loan, the smile that came on the faces of the mother and daughters made our entire hard work worth it 😊🙏. Looking at the happiness in their eyes, you can imagine how much of a burden this loan was in her life. Samoon Foundation gave a ray of hope to a hopeless person.

किसी भी आर्थिक अड़चन से निकलने का सबसे आसान रास्ता है *#कर्ज*, लेकिन जब ये ही कर्ज़ इंसान चुका नहीं पाता तो ये कर्ज़ उसका जीवन उतना ही मुश्किल कर देता है।

कुछ ऐसा ही कहानी थी सुमित्रा देवी की। गरीबी ऊपर से विधवा पति और बेटियों की माँ यह महिला अपने दम पर दिहाड़ी मजदूरी कर के जीवन यापन कर रही थी। बड़ी बेटी के विवाह में लिए बैंक के कर्ज को मुश्किल चुकाई रही थी लेकिन कोरोना ने उनको बिल्कुल बेरोजगार कर दिया और अब जब बैंक के सिर्फ 17000 ही बकाया था ये लोन चुकाने में पूरी तरह असमर्थ हो गई। 3 साल ईमानदारी से बैंक का लोन चुकाया और अब जब लोन खत्म होने वाला था डिफॉल्टर होने की कगार पर आ गई। अन्य बेटियों की शादी में अब बैंक से कर्ज की उम्मीद तो खत्म हुई सो अलग उल्टा अब तो बैंक की रिकवरी की कार्यवाही का सोच सोच कर ये बिल्कुल हताश हो गई। पहले ही गरीबी में दयनीय जीवन और अब बैंक रिकवरी का डर। SC/ST समाज से होने की वजह से मुख्य गांव से दूर घर के कोई सक्षम व्यक्ति इनकी स्थिति देखे और मदद करे, कहीं से कोई सहारा नहीं कोई मदद का जरिया नहीं, लेकिन कहते हैं ना अगर नियत अच्छी हो तो कोई न कोई रास्ता जरूर निकलता है। कहीं से इन्हें *#समूनफाउंडेशन* के बारे में पता चला और जब हमने पता किया तो इनकी हालात हमारी कल्पना से भी दयनीय थी फिर भी सुमित्रा जी ने अपने लिए हम से कुछ नहीं मांगा सिर्फ इसके की हम उनका ये कर्ज चुका दें। उनका कहना था कि वो भूख पेट गुजारा कर लेंगी पर इस कर्ज के साये में नहीं जी सकतीं। इनका ये जज्बा देखकर हमने भी अपने सभी दानियों से इनकी मदद की अपील की और इनके कर्ज के बकाया के ₹17000/- बैंक को चुका दिए। कर्ज उतरने के बाद इनके मासूम चेहरे पे जो मुस्कान आयी वो हम सारी उम्र का सुकून दे गयी 😊🙏। आप इनकी आंखों की खुशी देखकर ये अंदाजा लगा सकते हैं कि इस कर्ज ने इनके जीवन में कितना बोझ रहा होगा। समून फाउंडेशन ने किस तरह एक हताश इंसान को जीवन की उमंग दी है। धन्यवाद सभी दानकर्ताओं और सहयोगियों का हमें ऐसे जरूरतमंदों की मदद के योग्य बनाने के लिए।
