Samoon Foundation initiated a special campaign titled “Heros of Humanity” with the aim of highlighting positive and inspiring acts happening around us. While negative incidents often gain attention, inspiring human values and acts of kindness are rarely discussed. Through this initiative, we aim to bring forward stories of individuals who set an example of humanity through their actions.

Today’s Hero of Humanity is Home Guard जवान विकास आर्य from Uttarakhand. Let us look at his inspiring act:

Vikas Arya, a Home Guard jawan posted at Bhadrakali Chowki and a resident of Dhalwala, found an expensive mobile phone lying on the roadside while going for duty. He kept the phone safely with him. Since the phone was locked and the battery was very low, it was not possible to identify the owner immediately.

He arranged a charger from home and kept the phone switched on, hoping that the owner or someone known might call. After about an hour, a call came from the phone’s owner, Sandeep Chauhan, a resident of Shirvani, Lambgaon, Tehri Garhwal, who sounded very worried.

Vikas Arya introduced himself and informed him that his phone was safe and could be collected from Bhadrakali Chowki. When Sandeep arrived, the phone was unlocked using his fingerprint and verified through personal photos. After confirmation, Vikas Arya returned the phone to him.

Sandeep Chauhan was extremely happy and relieved to receive his expensive phone back, something he had almost lost hope of recovering.

समूण फाउंडेशन ने समाज में सकारात्मक और प्रेरणादायक घटनाओं को उजागर करने के उद्देश्य से “मानवता के नायक” अभियान की शुरुआत की है। जहाँ हमारे आसपास होने वाली नकारात्मक घटनाओं की चर्चा अधिक होती है, वहीं प्रेरणादायक और मानवीय कार्यों पर कम ध्यान दिया जाता है। इस पहल के माध्यम से हम ऐसे लोगों की कहानियाँ सामने ला रहे हैं जिन्होंने मानवता का उदाहरण प्रस्तुत किया है।

आज के हमारे मानवता के नायक हैं उत्तराखण्ड होमगार्ड जवान विकास आर्य। आइए उनके प्रेरक कार्य के बारे में जानते हैं:

भद्रकाली चौकी में तैनात और ढालवाला निवासी विकास आर्य को ड्यूटी जाते समय सड़क किनारे एक महंगा मोबाइल फोन मिला। उन्होंने उसे सुरक्षित अपने पास रख लिया। फोन लॉक होने और बैटरी कम होने के कारण वे स्वयं मालिक का पता नहीं लगा पाए।

उन्होंने घर से चार्जर मंगवाकर फोन को चालू रखा ताकि यदि कोई कॉल आए तो मालिक तक पहुंचा जा सके। लगभग एक घंटे बाद फोन पर उसके मालिक संदीप चौहान, निवासी शीर्वाणी, लम्बगांव, टिहरी गढ़वाल का कॉल आया, जो काफी परेशान थे।

विकास आर्य ने उन्हें अपना परिचय दिया और बताया कि उनका फोन सुरक्षित है, जिसे वे भद्रकाली चौकी से प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। संदीप चौहान के पहुंचने पर उनके फिंगरप्रिंट से फोन अनलॉक करवा कर तथा फोटो देखकर पुष्टि करने के बाद विकास आर्य ने फोन उन्हें लौटा दिया।

अपना महंगा फोन वापस पाकर संदीप चौहान अत्यंत खुश हुए और उन्हें विश्वास ही नहीं हो रहा था कि उनका फोन वापस मिल गया है।
