Watching one’s child struggle between life and death is an unimaginable pain for any parent. The suffering becomes even more difficult when parents are unable to arrange the necessary treatment for their child despite wanting to do everything possible.

Harish Rawat Ji, a resident of Ranikhet, Almora, is going through such a difficult phase. Harish Ji earns his livelihood through farming and supports his family. He has four children — two sons and two daughters. His eldest daughter is married, while the remaining three children are continuing their studies.

His youngest son Ajay, who is only 16 years old, is suffering from a serious health condition. Both of Ajay’s kidneys have failed, and he is currently undergoing treatment at Krishna Hospital, Haldwani.

Ajay requires dialysis twice a week. However, due to Harish Ji’s weak financial condition, arranging the expenses for his son’s treatment has become extremely difficult. He has neither a regular source of income nor sufficient family support, and he has been managing the treatment expenses by borrowing money from others.

Ajay’s name is also not included under the Ayushman Card scheme, due to which the family is unable to receive treatment support through it.

Through Samoon Foundation, Harish Ji has appealed to the public for financial assistance so that his son’s treatment can continue.

अपने बच्चे को जिंदगी और मौत के बीच संघर्ष करते हुए देखना किसी भी माता-पिता के लिए अत्यंत पीड़ादायक होता है। और जब माता-पिता चाहकर भी अपने बच्चे का इलाज करवाने में असमर्थ हों, तो उनके दुख और चिंता की कल्पना करना भी कठिन है।

ऐसे ही कठिन समय से गुजर रहे हैं हरीश रावत जी, जो मूल रूप से रानीखेत, अल्मोड़ा के निवासी हैं। हरीश जी खेती-बाड़ी करके अपने परिवार का पालन-पोषण करते हैं। उनके चार बच्चे हैं — दो बेटे और दो बेटियां। सबसे बड़ी बेटी का विवाह हो चुका है, जबकि अन्य तीन बच्चे अभी अध्ययनरत हैं।

हरीश जी के सबसे छोटे बेटे अजय, जिसकी उम्र मात्र 16 वर्ष है, की तबीयत बहुत खराब है। अजय की दोनों किडनियां खराब हो चुकी हैं और वर्तमान में उनका इलाज हल्द्वानी के निजी अस्पताल कृष्णा हॉस्पिटल में चल रहा है।

अजय का सप्ताह में दो बार डायलिसिस किया जा रहा है। लेकिन हरीश जी की आर्थिक स्थिति कमजोर होने के कारण बेटे के इलाज का खर्च उठाना उनके लिए बहुत कठिन हो रहा है। न तो उनके पास कोई स्थायी नौकरी है और न ही परिवार में आर्थिक सहायता करने वाला कोई अन्य व्यक्ति। किसी तरह लोगों से कर्ज लेकर वे अपने बेटे का इलाज करवा रहे हैं।

अजय का नाम आयुष्मान कार्ड में भी शामिल नहीं है, जिसके कारण उन्हें इस योजना का लाभ नहीं मिल पा रहा है। ऐसी स्थिति में हरीश जी ने समूण फाउंडेशन के माध्यम से आम जनमानस से अपने बेटे के इलाज हेतु सहयोग की अपील की है।

आप सभी से निवेदन है कि इस परिवार की सहायता हेतु यथासंभव सहयोग करें, ताकि अजय का इलाज निरंतर जारी रह सके।
