Samoon Foundation has always been committed to supporting people living in difficult circumstances. One such example is the support provided to visually impaired folk singer Santram Ji and his wife Anandi Devi Ji, residents of Almora, Uttarakhand, who were once forced to live a life full of hardships.

With the continuous efforts of Samoon Foundation, their house was renovated and a toilet was constructed at a cost of approximately ₹1 lakh. Along with this, food support was arranged for them continuously for one year, providing meals through a hotel at the rate of ₹3,600 per month.

Due to the absence of an Aadhaar card, Samoon Foundation, with the support of local people, helped them get their Aadhaar cards made and also assisted in starting their pension benefits.

Recently, through social media, Samoon Foundation came to know that this visually impaired couple is again facing difficulties. The Samoon team will contact Santram Ji and Anandi Devi Ji to understand their present challenges and will make every possible effort to support them.

दृष्टिहीन दंपति सहायता अभियान

समूण फाउंडेशन सदैव ऐसे लोगों की सहायता के लिए प्रयासरत रहता है जो कठिन परिस्थितियों में जीवन जीने को मजबूर हैं। उत्तराखंड के अल्मोड़ा निवासी दृष्टिहीन लोकगायक संतराम जी एवं उनकी धर्मपत्नी आनंदी देवी जी भी कभी अत्यंत कठिन परिस्थितियों में जीवन यापन करने को मजबूर थे।

समूण फाउंडेशन के प्रयासों से लगभग ₹1 लाख की लागत से उनके घर का जीर्णोद्धार करवाया गया और साथ ही उनके लिए शौचालय का निर्माण भी कराया गया।

इसके अतिरिक्त लगातार एक वर्ष तक होटल से प्रतिमाह ₹3,600 की दर से भोजन की व्यवस्था भी करवाई गई, ताकि उन्हें भोजन के लिए किसी परेशानी का सामना न करना पड़े।

आधार कार्ड न होने के कारण क्षेत्रीय लोगों के सहयोग से उनके आधार कार्ड बनवाए गए और उनकी पेंशन भी सुचारू रूप से शुरू करवाई गई।

हाल ही में सोशल मीडिया के माध्यम से जानकारी मिली है कि दृष्टिहीन दंपति संतराम जी और आनंदी देवी जी एक बार फिर कठिन परिस्थितियों का सामना कर रहे हैं। समूण परिवार उनसे संपर्क कर उनकी वर्तमान समस्याओं की जानकारी लेगा और उन्हें हर संभव सहायता प्रदान करने के लिए तत्पर रहेगा।
