After experiencing the struggles of mountain life, and with continuous hard work and the blessings of God, when a person becomes capable of earning a comfortable living for their family, it becomes their responsibility to contribute towards society and support those in need.
Many people around us are still struggling for even a single meal and are living difficult lives. Sharing their pain and trying to bring happiness into their lives is a noble responsibility for all of us.
Inspired by this thought and the humanitarian and social work being carried out by Samoon Foundation, Shri Nand Kishor Rana Ji contacted respected Samoon family member Shri Sudarshan Singh Panwar Ji and expressed his desire to contribute towards helping people through Samoon Foundation.
Sudarshan Ji informed Rana Ji about the challenges faced at the computer training centre established by Samoon Foundation in Rudraprayag, especially the electricity problem affecting students’ learning. To ensure that students do not face difficulties in computer education, the need for an inverter and printer was discussed.
Immediately, Rana Ji contributed:
₹18,000/- for an inverter
₹17,000/- for a printer
₹10,000/- for lifetime membership
₹6,000/- as general donation
A total amount of ₹51,000/- was transferred to the Samoon Foundation account.
Shri Nand Kishor Rana Ji is originally from Village Makhet, Post Office Mayali, District Rudraprayag and through his hard work is currently running a restaurant in Australia.

समूण परिवार में नंद किशोर राणा जी का हार्दिक स्वागत है। 🙏🏻🌹🙏🏻
कठिन संघर्षशील पहाड़ी जीवन और उसके बाद कठिन मेहनत एवं प्रभु की कृपा से जब हम अपने जीवन में इतने सक्षम हो जाते हैं कि अपने परिवार के लिए दो वक्त की रोटी आराम से कमा सकें, तब हमारा कर्तव्य बनता है कि हम अपने समाज और अपने लोगों के लिए यथासंभव सहयोग करें।
हमारे आसपास ऐसे बहुत से लोग हैं जिन्हें एक वक्त की रोटी भी नसीब नहीं होती और वे भूखे-प्यासे अत्यंत कठिन परिस्थितियों में जीवन व्यतीत कर रहे हैं। उनके दुख-दर्द को बांटते हुए उन्हें हर संभव खुशी देने का प्रयास करना हम सभी का दायित्व है।
इसी विचारधारा और समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा किए जा रहे मानवीय एवं सामाजिक कार्यों से प्रेरित होकर नंद किशोर राणा जी ने समूण परिवार के सम्मानित सदस्य सुदर्शन सिंह पंवार जी से संपर्क किया और समूण के माध्यम से अपने लोगों के लिए सहयोग करने की इच्छा व्यक्त की।
सुदर्शन भाई जी ने राणा जी को बताया कि रुद्रप्रयाग में बच्चों के लिए खोले गए कंप्यूटर प्रशिक्षण केंद्र में बिजली की समस्या रहती है। बच्चों की पढ़ाई में परेशानी न हो, इसके लिए एक इनवर्टर और प्रिंटर की आवश्यकता बताई गई।
राणा जी ने तत्काल सहयोग करते हुए:
₹18,000/- इनवर्टर हेतु
₹17,000/- प्रिंटर हेतु
₹10,000/- लाइफटाइम सदस्यता शुल्क
₹6,000/- जनरल डोनेशन
इस प्रकार कुल ₹51,000/- की राशि समूण खाते में ट्रांसफर की।
राणा जी मूल रूप से गांव मखेत, पोस्ट ऑफिस मयाली, जिला रुद्रप्रयाग के निवासी हैं और अपनी कठिन मेहनत के बल पर वर्तमान में ऑस्ट्रेलिया में अपना रेस्टोरेंट संचालित कर रहे हैं।
आपकी उत्कृष्ट सोच, सामाजिक एवं मानवीय कार्यों के प्रति लगाव और जरूरतमंदों की सहायता करने की भावना से आपका समूण परिवार से जुड़ना हमारे लिए खुशी एवं गर्व की बात है।
