The Samoon Computer Training Institute (SCTI) in Shyampur, Rishikesh, had the distinct honor of welcoming a talented group of student volunteers from the prestigious IIT Roorkee, who visited the center as part of their dedicated volunteerism program.
The volunteers from IIT Roorkee interacted extensively with our students and faculty, offering invaluable guidance on future career paths. They shared foundational knowledge on cutting-edge subjects like Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the core principles of the internet. Beyond academics, they conducted vital awareness sessions on preventing online fraud, engaged the learners with brainstorming puzzles, and personally addressed individual queries raised by our students.
In addition to mentorship and training, the IIT students extended their technical support to the Samoon Foundation’s administrative IT operations. They actively assisted the team in navigating registrations across various government and non-government platforms, directly strengthening the foundation's digital reach and crowdfunding capabilities.
The entire day proved to be highly productive and deeply inspiring for our students, the ground team, and the IIT volunteers alike. We express our heartfelt gratitude to the volunteers for dedicating their valuable time, energy, and shared vision toward empowering rural youth.

समूण कंप्यूटर ट्रेनिंग इंस्टीट्यूट (SCTI), श्यामपुर ऋषिकेश में हमें देश के प्रतिष्ठित संस्थान आईआईटी रुड़की (IIT Roorkee) से आए प्रतिभावान विद्यार्थियों का स्वागत करने का विशेष सम्मान प्राप्त हुआ। ये विद्यार्थी अपने सामाजिक स्वयंसेवी कार्यक्रम (Volunteer Program) के अंतर्गत विशेष रूप से हमारे संस्थान का दौरा करने आए थे।
आईआईटी रुड़की से आए इन युवा वॉलेंटियर्स ने हमारे छात्र-छात्राओं और स्टाफ के साथ बेहद आत्मीय संवाद किया। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों को भविष्य में करियर बनाने के विभिन्न विकल्पों के बारे में विस्तार से मार्गदर्शन दिया। इसके साथ ही कंप्यूटर विज्ञान (Computer Science), आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस (AI) और इंटरनेट के मूलभूत सिद्धांतों पर अपना बहुमूल्य ज्ञान साझा किया। आज के डिजिटल युग को देखते हुए उन्होंने बच्चों को ऑनलाइन धोखाधड़ी (Cyber Fraud) से बचने के प्रति जागरूक किया, दिमागी पहेलियों (Brainstorming Puzzles) को हल कराया और विद्यार्थियों के मन में उठने वाले विभिन्न प्रश्नों का व्यक्तिगत रूप से समाधान भी किया।
केवल शिक्षण और मार्गदर्शन ही नहीं, बल्कि आईआईटी के इन मेधावी छात्रों ने समूण फाउंडेशन के तकनीकी व आईटी-संबंधित कार्यों में भी अपना महत्वपूर्ण सहयोग दिया। उन्होंने संस्था के कार्यों को विभिन्न सरकारी एवं गैर-सरकारी प्लेटफॉर्म्स पर पंजीकृत करने में मदद की, जिससे आने वाले समय में संस्था की पहुँच और क्राउडफंडिंग (Crowdfunding) के प्रयासों को और अधिक मजबूती मिलेगी।
यह पूरा दिन हमारे विद्यार्थियों, हमारी पूरी टीम और आईआईटी के स्वयंसेवकों—सभी के लिए अत्यंत उत्पादक, सीखने से भरा और प्रेरणादायक रहा। हम ग्रामीण युवाओं को तकनीकी रूप से सशक्त बनाने की इस मुहिम में अपना कीमती समय, ऊर्जा और सहयोग देने के लिए आईआईटी रुड़की के सभी वॉलेंटियर्स का हृदय से आभार व्यक्त करते हैं।
