The Samoon Foundation extended a helping hand to 17-year-old Ankit Singh Chauhan, a resident of Tehri Garhwal who is battling severe kidney disease. On August 27, 2025, a cheque of ₹51,000 (Fifty-One Thousand Rupees) was presented to his mother, Mrs. Uma Devi, at the foundation's head office in Rishikesh.
Ankit, a bright and promising student, always dreamed of supporting his parents after completing his education. However, his life took an unexpected turn when he was diagnosed with a severe kidney ailment. Medical tests revealed that one of his kidneys has failed completely, while the other is functioning at only 60%. Ankit's father works a low-income job in Dehradun to sustain the household. The family had already exhausted all their life savings on initial tests and treatments. Facing an absolute financial crisis for further medical procedures, they approached the Samoon Family for urgent help.
Upon receiving the cheque, Mrs. Uma Devi expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all the members and donors of the Samoon Foundation, stating that this timely support has brought a new ray of hope during their darkest hours. She shared that Ankit's treatment is ongoing and this assistance will be immensely helpful in managing the high medical costs.

टिहरी गढ़वाल निवासी 17 वर्षीय होनहार छात्र अंकित सिंह चौहान, जो इस समय गंभीर किडनी रोग से जूझ रहा है, की मदद के लिए समूण परिवार आगे आया है। पीड़ित परिवार को संबल देने के लिए 27 अगस्त 2025 को ₹51,000 (इक्यावन हज़ार रुपए) का सहायता चेक अंकित की माता जी श्रीमती umadevi (उमा देवी) को ऋषिकेश स्थित समूण फाउंडेशन के कार्यालय में सप्रेम भेंट किया गया।
अंकित मात्र 17 वर्ष का एक बेहद होनहार विध्यार्थी है, जिसका सपना था कि वह अपनी पढ़ाई पूरी कर एक अच्छी नौकरी पाकर अपने माता-पिता का सहारा बनेगा। लेकिन अचानक इस गंभीर बीमारी ने उसकी दुनिया बदल दी। डॉक्टरी जांच में पाया गया कि अंकित की एक किडनी पूरी तरह खराब हो चुकी है और दूसरी किडनी भी मात्र 60% ही काम कर रही है। अंकित के पिता देहरादून में एक बेहद छोटी सी नौकरी करके पूरे परिवार का भरण-पोषण करते हैं। इलाज और लगातार होती जांचों में परिवार ने अब तक अपनी जीवन भर की सारी जमा-पूंजी लगा दी थी। आगे के महंगे इलाज के लिए हाथ में पैसे न होने के कारण लाचार परिवार ने समूण संस्था से मदद की गुहार लगाई थी।
इस भावुक अवसर पर श्रीमती उमा देवी जी ने समूण फाउंडेशन के सभी सदस्यों और सम्मानित दानदाताओं का तहे दिल से आभार व्यक्त किया। उन्होंने कहा कि इस संकट की घड़ी में मिले इस सहयोग ने उनके पूरे परिवार को एक नई उम्मीद दी है। उन्होंने बताया कि अंकित का इलाज वर्तमान में जारी है और यह राशि चिकित्सा के भारी खर्च को पूरा करने में अत्यंत सहायक सिद्ध होगी।
